This had is so pretty and is made of real straw. I got a lot of complements. It was a little be big because is a men had but if u are smart enough to put a clip or a bobby pin like a did you will look amazing and your had won’t go any where. Oh I did not like the ret thing so a took it off

This was a perfect hat to be madeline for Halloween. Loved that the red ribbon is already on it. It’s a cute hat, came straight and not bent.

Purchased this hat for a costume. It came rolled up in the packaging. I was upset to find it had been shipped this way, but I unrolled it, and voilà! Popped right into shape! Surprised and relieved about that!It’s a nice hat, however, the hat doesn’t go down around the head very far due to the shortened height of the crown (which is accurate for this type of hat). Add to that: the sweatband is very large so there was no way this hat was sitting atop my head. I had to go buy thick, adhesive weather stripping at the store to line the sweatband area so that the hat would stay on my head. It worked perfectly.I think even if you have a larger head, it still might be too big. Other than that, it’s a great costume piece! Good quality

I wanted to use this as bunco hat, but the part where you put your head in is too shallow and the round part is too big. So it just flopped around and fell off, it could not fit on your head. You could try to balance it on your head but even that was super hard. Imagine trying to balance a large bar pan on your head. It looks great tho for decoration. The hat part tho is like 2 inches high and flat. The round part is way bigger than most heads. Even if the round part weren't so big, the fact that it is only 2 inches deep means that it was not going to fit on any head.

We needed straw hats for costumes and these worked perfect. We had to cut the tails off the ribbon, as our costumes didn’t need them, but they worked for what we needed.

needed this had for a gondolier costume for my husband -- worked as expected based on other reviews -- it is not a form fitting hat and would blow off in wind, but the party was indoors... he wore it all night, and his costume was a hit with the crowd. Good price, delivery was as stated.
