These are nice lights. The only problem is they allow rain to leak into the jars. It has been rainy here in the month or so since I got these. Water collects on the lids and slowly seeps into the jars. So far the lights continue to work but I'm concerned that the moisture will be bad for the batteries and electronics and may shorten their useful life. The amount of water in the jars is only a teaspoon or two, but enough to fog them up with condensation. The lids are already starting to rust. All of this might be avoided if you pour off the water that collects on the tops after a rain.Update: A year later the lights are working fine. Also, I recently solved the rain problem by rubbing a little bathtub caulk around the top edge of the lid where it meets the solar panel. Rained plenty last night and no more leaks.Also, in my neighborhood the power goes out two or three times a year, sometimes for two days or more. The last time this happened I brought these lights inside. They provided enough light to get around the house at night. Much safer than candles. When the batteries discharged I put in regular AAA batteries. If you do this you should put the rechargeable batteries back in before you set them back outside.

These caps fit a standard mason jar lid. Easy to set up. Get a jar pull out the battery saver tab and screw onto jar. I been using them 2 weeks and no issues despite sevetal days of torrential rain.

Turned out brighter than expected. The lids kept going on a little crooked but I found that when they were on as far as they would go, I just pushed down on the high spot and they seated the rest of the way down. They are cute for a more rustic setting. I use them on the back deck railing facing the forest. I put some pretty stones and a few shells in the bottom.

The lights are bright, were shipped quickly and look beautiful, however they do not fit standard mason jars, they are too tight to screw on properly, therefore they get condensation and water inside, otherwise the product is amazing

I purchase these before with the jars included which were much more sturdy and easy to install. Your hangers are sturdy they are thin and I hope they will withstand the weather. The Fairy kites were very difficult to unwind as they were tangled around each other. However they turned out nice. They look pretty in the yard.

I like this product so far I don’t know how it’s going to hold up in weather but they’re really bright and easy to install in fact I’m going to put in another order because I gave away so many of them and I want to put them along my trail in the backyard
