WeWOOD KAPPANUT Kappa Nut Watch

Bought this for my husband. He opened the box and was super excited (and he isn't all that enthusiastic). "A wooden watch?! This is so cool, where did you find this." Basically he wears a $9 Casio from Walmart, and wanted something more stylish but not blingy, for when he isn't working. So, I thought I would give this a shot. I did good :-) It is very light weight and definetly ALL WOOD (except the face and clasp). The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the small, big, and date hands do not glow very well at all. He has to hold his arm up to the light and make a cave over the face and squint to see them glow. This isn't a wilderness watch obviously but he would like the hands to glow more in dimmer lighting. I can't really comment much on the price, only because I'm not sure if it's worth $150, however I am not a watch expert either. I thought it looked cool and It was a Christmas present, so I spent the money. I would say it is very well made for casual wear. Also, it comes with a manual in about 20 different languages!

I bought this watch for my boyfriend who is not a very "fancy" or "showy" guy. He had been saying he wanted a watch for a while, but since he is a flannel wearing, long haired hippy guy, he wasn't a fan of the usual silver watches.Enter wooden watch! I was skeptical at first because, as stated, he doesn't wear watches and has never owned one, but he loves it!I would give it 5 stars if the links were easier to remove (I had to take it to a jewelry store so they could professionally take a link out and it took them over 30 minutes and $20) and if the little hands in the day, date, and 12/24 hour clock circle things were easier to set (this may have been user error because we are not watch savvy people).Overall, it's a really nice looking watch for those that are not flashy. You can dress it up or dress it down (keep in mind that "dressed up" for my boyfriend is a button down shirt that's not plaid, a pair of khakis and his hair in a ponytail/bun with him trying to get away with his cleanest pair of vans).

As a notorious "terrible gift giver" I was nervous about spending the money for this watch. I would either strike out or hit it out of the park.I'm pleased to say it was out of the park!I bought this for my fiancé who loves watches, being stylish and woodworking.It came in a small box made of 100% recycled materials. The box itself is nice enough that you can put a bow on it and give it as a gift.Inside, the watch was packed nicely with a nice tag and warranty info.The watch itself is very lightweight and very smooth. The wood is nicely conditioned and there are no rough edges. You can remove links to fit and the clasp is very sturdy.The back of the watch face has a large WeWOOD design that is nice but I hoped there would be more room for a personalized inscription, though a small one could be added or could be put on the links.It looks great on him and anytime he wears it he's asked to take it off so everyone can see it better. People are amazed at how well made, detailed and lightweight it is.I also love that the company plants a tree for every watch that is bought and only uses reclaimed and repurposed wood.

Amazon honored their 2 year warranty on this watch when Weewood wouldnt. We just bought a new one for our son. He tells me he gets tons of compliments about his wooden watch. He absolutely loves it.

Absolutely in love with this watch and so does my hubby!Very popular in Hawaii while on vacation :)

Works and looks great. I get more compliments from this watch than others I have that cost hundreds of more.

stem broke the first time i tried to set time. returned watch, and the replacement did the exact same thing. I tried to return for a refund, and they won't return my communications. i suggest staying away from this brand.

Bought this as a gift and he loves it.
