Another in this great little series taking the best of previous published comic book type stories and editing three of each similar branch of service stories into one paperback volume. All edited under the title COMMANDO by Calum Laird. Great stuff to get lost into and not have to overwork your mind or thinking process..escapism, I' d call it. Worth your looking into if you are into Military history and know who Sgt. Rock, Gunner and Sarge, and Jeb Stuart and the Haunted Tank are. This volume concerns stories about the British Airbourne forces, Paras as well as Glidermen, in WWII. The most unique story involves ten paratroopers dropped on a suicidal mission, told in the manner of the children's rhyme " Ten Little Indians". Worth your looking into, I really enjoyed the set of books!Again. Thanks to Amazon for making them available in the USA.

Bought it nearly ten years back. Best buy if you like commando comics. These days Commando comics are too expensive if they are ever sold. Buy it if the price is affordable, you won't regret it.

My grandson did not like reading until I started to buy him Commando books. Now he is always asking me to but more. Good value for money as well.

All graphics are black and white and gave a good impression of this dramatic times. Also good and easy to read. Background is well recherched. Drop of bitterness is, that the germans always be the stupid ones.

its an excellent comic.it brought back all those schooldays memories of commando comics and the exchange of comic books.highly recommended to the guys of my era who loved reading commando.
