Cheap - but very cheerful!
Surprised just how good this was for a bargain buy. I've had a Stanley ratchet screwdriver for 20 years and a Snap-on for about 30 years but having recently misplaced both of those, needed something to get me out of trouble so bought this for about ยฃ8 - worth every penny and hasn't failed to undo/do up whatever i've asked of it so far. Bad points are the ratchet isn't as smooth as the other two and it has much fewer teeth in the ratchet needing a laarger arc before the next tooth is engaged but i can live with that for the price. Again someething i can live with is the relatively cheap feel but that said, i think that's just the finish because it feels well made. Conclusion - definitely a good buy for the money.

Great value: A Sturdy Ratchet Screwdriver with Versatile Bit Options"
This is a great and sturdy ratchet screwdriver. At less than ยฃ10, it's certainly value for money. The ratcheting mechanism punches way above its weight - competing with products ten times its price. It also comes with a convenient bit holder. The bits themselves are okay, nothing special in terms of quality, but not as bad as most other products in the same price range. Since the screwdriver takes standard 1/4" hex bits, you can always buy external bits. In the video, you can see me inserting a 25mm Bosch Impact Control Insert Bit. The locking mechanism is magnetic, and it works very well. The bits themselves weren't magnetized, or at least they weren't magnetized enough to attract screws. However, that's nothing that a magnetizer like the one from Klein Tools in my video can't solve.

nice screwdriver
would like for it to include more bits and maybe be able to shorten the shaft a little but other then that works really well and is built well too

Amazing product
I've certainly put mine through its paces, working in IT. I've installed whole server cabinets, racks and rails using it. And even used it for a bit of home DIY too. Quality for the price is exceptional. The bits are stored in the head so are quick to grab.

Good screwdriver
Has came in handy for so many PC repairs, only negative the locking system can be a bit weird but easy to sort out.

Itโs no LTT Screwdriver but itโs great value
Like others, Iโd been pondering over whether to buy a very-well made screwdriver recently produced by a well-known tech YouTube channel but at nearly ยฃ100 once delivery and customs duty were factored in, it was something I couldnโt justify. So I looked at other brands and decided that, for my own needs, something fairly basic would probably do the job. Is the Amazon Basics screwdriver the best on the market? No. Itโs shaft has a fair bit of wobble and the ratchet mechanism isnโt perfect. But at under ยฃ10 itโs an absolute steal. I own a decent collection of tools and Iโll happily take ones which do 90% as good a job at 10% of the price, all day long. The push-button bit storage in the handle is convenient, itโs nicely weighted and grippy, and the knurling on the shaft is excellent. This screwdriver will do most jobs with ease. Itโs perhaps less-suited to small, intricate jobs although itโll still do them just fine. The magnets arenโt the greatest but I havenโt lost a screw or a bit yet. So if, like me, you want a ratcheting screwdriver but canโt justify the expense of some of the branded products, Iโd highly recommend giving this a go, especially if itโs something youโll only use a few times per month or less. For the price, itโs probably the best value item in my toolbox.

Useful tool but the ratchet mechanism isn't great
I've used this almost daily since I got it and it's handy to have around, especially as it has all the bits contained inside. Have had trouble with the ratchet mechanism slipping though which kind of defeats the purpose. Pros: - handy tool with lots of different bits contained in the end - ratchet mechanism makes screwing easier Cons: - ratchet mechanism tends to slip which means you have to keep resetting it mid use - very long neck on it so not good for tight spaces Overall it does a job for the price but I'd probably pay more next time for a more premium product.

Good value for money - works well
Wanted a ratchet screwdriver for building some flat pack. I have battery screwdrivers but was looking for softer touch. The ratchet works well. It saves work but still gives control. I have large tins full of bits so I did not need any. However I did need three specific sizes including a hex for the job and they were all in the handle. The handle is just right for a little purchase with good grip. Read the reviews about how magnetic it is. Tried it and it is not. I have a magnetiser and other magnetic tools so for the price was not concerned. I only bought it for one job but is now my go to for other than electrical work and other specialised jobs. Will likely throw out the screwdrivers in the kitchen drawer and buy another to replace them all.

One of the best price to performance budget ratcheting screwdriver
This screwdriver is SIGNIFICANTLY better than the Craftsman one (the one that comes with a carry bag and more tips). The build feel a lot more sturdy, the magnetic tips is a great bonus and the ratchet is ok. Not the best compared to something like the LTT screwdriver but that one costs 10x more. The is a bit a wiggle at the ratchet but nothing I would consider a dealbreaker. Honestly, I don't think it's possible to beat at this price. If you don't need to use a screwdriver, I would definitely recommend this one over all the other budget option out there.
