does it remove pharmaceuticals?

I’d recommend Brita filters if you’re researching this detail. I’m not sure any ‘universally’ removing everything and Brita is head and shoulders above anything else I’ve tried. I did the best research I could before both purchases, and back to Brita; worth but more in price.

do you fit these with or without the silicone ring that is used for the aqua optima original filters.

I have used it with the fitted silcone ring. The 30 day filters are a tight fit and work well.

Do these cartridges fit Brita Style jugs?

Yes they do fit Brita jugs. They fit jugs that take a Brita Maxtra and Maxtra+ jugs. They dont fit the Brita Perfectfit jugs or britta classic rouund filter jugs
