Kanthal always had a bad taste to me, I have a nickel allergy, and titanium coils didn't stick around long. SS coils and mesh came to the rescue, without altering the taste.I use them on a TC device in my Profile RDA (planning on getting a mesh RTA soon).I've had these since the beginning of October and I'm only on my second mesh (about 2 1/2 weeks so far). The first one would have lasted longer had I not dented it, causing hot spots, while cleaning. Absolutely an operator error.Once I figured out the best way to clean them, they've been great.

In regards to James Marshall saying these are not as advertised... if you kink or bend these strips too much during a build you are going to alter the resistance or if they are not secured correctly they will throw wild values on resistance.When I test a build if I see that much variance on resistance it's a tell tale sign something is wrong with the build. Double check both ends resecure and retest. Make sure your not applying extra unneeded force to distort the mesh.Also make sure you stuff a ton of cotton beneath the mesh strip. If the cotton isn't making great contact with the mesh your will get a burnt taste. Mesh definitely demands a bit more patience and finesse, but if well built this product is great. I've ordered many products direct from wireoptim they make nice stuff. I know this because I've ran into these problems myself and had to troubleshoot and correct mistakes.

I had used the Kanthal mesh before and decided to try SS316 for temp control. Ohms read accurately and hold up well to high wattages.

maybe these would work with temperature control, i dont know anything about that. hit it at 60 watts, and it just straight up melted

The moment it was delivered, I popped it into a Profile RDA v1 and it works just as good as OFRF Stainless Steel Mesh. I’ve only had this build for 17 days, so I can’t quite tell what the longevity of the mesh strips is going to be like, but I do vape a lot per day, and it’s been holding up like a champ. Overall, very impressed.

I use these in both the profile rda and the profile unity. These are thee best mesh coils ever! In temp control I never get dry hits (those complaining need to watch mrjustright1 and TVC videos on how to wick properly.) If you know how to build, these ss coils in temp control will become all you use! Get extra tho. They get dirty quick and it’s hard to use a brush on thin mesh. I am an extremely heavy user and a coil lasts about a 5-7 days before I end up tossing it.
