It kind of helps me, but not a lot. The output seems to be way too low. I actually modified mine a bit to produce a bit of ozone (I glued on a wire that's just close enough to the bristles to create an arc without actually touching them) when I was disappointed by initial results and this helped just a tiny bit more, but it still hasn't been very effective to me. While it does indeed help with smoke smells and the like it pretty much only helps me AT ALL if I hold it right under my nose the whole time. This isn't just awkward and inconvenient, it's just not very effective. Until I put that wire there, I couldn't even really tell it was doing anything at all in fact. I think its output is just too low to be very effective for people like myself who have troubles with stuff like the cigarette smell on chronic smokers. I can't attest to how effective it is for full blown asthma or maybe for people who have less of a problem, but in the end I gave mine to my mother who said that it at least helped her a little bit and have been looking for something more effective for myself (though I think I'll have to more or less rig up something custom instead.)

Not working as advertised. I gave it to my sis in law who used it during her flight back to Aussie and it functioned miserably, green light kept on shutting off. Now I cannot return the item as it is now in Aussie. I tried calling customer service and they never responded nor ever acknowledged my voice message and request for a return call. Am very disappointed.

Bought to reduce asthma and migraines from air pollution from cigarette smoke, cars, and barbeques or fireplace smoke with the hope that it would be as effective as a filter mask for particulates and some chemicals according to reports. The device produced a strong ozone smell and gave a headache rather than reducing them. Not sure how well it reduced smoke and smog, because I could not use it due to the guaranteed headache each time I tried it. Switched to another portable air cleaner one that works although not when moving past people smoking or through a polluted area. They seem to work best when stationary.

*I did NOT receive this at discount for my review*. In short, I have returned this product. Did not work. Tried the smoke test and while it helped a little the container stilll had smoke 60 seconds later. Did not help with allergies or smells at all after fully charging the device and wearing all day. Glad I can return it. My search continues...

Didn't work to keep scents that bother my allergies away. It also has a couple brush things sticking up that were uncomfortable when coming in contact with the skin.

It doesn't work like I thought it would work. Hardly ever use it.

Useless! Still got sick after 6 hours of flying. Doesn't do anything !

When you have allergies, you would do anything to get your streak back and those nostrils to easily pump O2 in your lungs. Unfortunately, this did absolutely nothing, although I could feel a very small electric shock when it made skin to skin contact. Would not recommend, unless you like getting shocked. Then this is the product for you!

I have scent sensitivity due to rare disease, I wear a filter mask to go out but tried this gadget recommended by fellow sufferers and it works! Been out three times with it and without wearing my filter mask and had no reactions and no anaphylaxis from perfumes.
