PLAYMOBIL Pet Store Interior Playset

My daughter has a bunch of Playmobil sets, all pertaining to animals (Large Zoo, Children's Pony Farm, Animal Care Station, etc, etc...) She had $20 left over from her birthday, so we thought this would be a good "add on" item to use with her other animal-themed Playmobil sets. I understood, before ordering, that this set only included the INTERIOR of the pet store, and that the actual store (building) was sold separately. I still figured it would be a good addition.Most of what's included can work without having the actual store, however, it would all work more effectively with a structure, in which everything could be set up, and some pieces snapped into. The only items which are totally unusable without the store, are the little signs with the individual pictures of animals, and the large sign with the picture of a group of animals. Not really a big deal. The parrot, I was able to hang from one of the shelves, as shown in the picture of the product. However, it's not shown in the included instructions, how to do so. The instructions show it snapped onto the ceiling/wall of the store. The piece (not sure what it's supposed to be) that's sitting in front of the dog house, I snapped onto the side of the check-out counter, rather than using that spot to hang the bucket. The instructions show this piece snapped into the wall of the store. Without the store, there is noting to snap the green animal crate into, but it is still perfectly usable. The 2 shelves can also still be used, but do tend to topple over constantly, without having the store walls on which to secure them. Most of what I just explained, probably won't make much sense, until you start putting the set together.Overall, if you just want some extra animals and supplies, this "add on" item is fine. It does, like I said, lose a little something without also having the actual store. It's also worth mentioning that this set came packaged in a plastic bag, without the expected box displaying a picture of what's inside. This didn't matter to my daughter, since she already knew what she was getting. If someone was planning to give this set as a gift, it might be important to note, since it's not contained in a box (just the plastic bag), it doesn't present itself very nicely (gift giving wise.) Also, the included instructions show how to set up the larger pieces when used in conjunction with the store, however, there is no picture to show where to place all the little stuff. Again, if you know what you're getting, this isn't a big deal, but to someone who is receiving it as a gift, they might not be sure where everything is supposed to go.

Quite a rip off. The original manufacturers STILL sell this item and it is no where close to being worth $50+ yet. On the other hand, the item is of amazing quality. Pieces are adorable though most of the animals don't have much detail. (Features are not painted.)

My 7 yr old daughter got this for Christmas last year and loves it! She is a huge Playmobil fan and has many sets. She uses this with a school building she already had and it works great! (Nice way to get more for your buck, as these toys are a little pricey....)I wanted to make it clear that this set comes in a clear plastic bag, not a colorful box like most of the sets you buy at the toy store. It only includes what is visible in the photo. It does not come with a store building structure. I have read a couple reviews from other folks who weren't expecting that and they were disappointed. You do get a lot for the money however, and most children who love animals will enjoy this. What kid doesn't love to visit a pet store?? It has so many cute accessories and several kinds of different pets you don't see in other sets. Highly recommend for little animal fans!

We LOVE Play mobile. However probably to some of my fault I did not realize this was only the interior pieces to a set. A total disappointment for the money. Why would they sell a broken set like this. Feel totally scammed!! Not a great presentation for the love of the Pla ymobile sets. Will definately be more careful in the future!!

My 4 year old loves this. We use it with the Animal Clinic as she loves to put all animals in their "beds" and give them food. She is 100% animal lover and obsessed with all animal toys. I did't get the store building, it was sold out everywhere, and we have managed just fine without. Thought she might be frustrated with the small parts, but she's not. Looking forward to seeing her and her imagination grow with this. I thought it was a great value.

Very cute gift we gave to our niece.

I bought this set after reading the reviews, so I knew it is made to go with the pet store structure which is sold separately. I don't like however that the directions with this set include that structure, and even pieces to attach it to the house, as it makes it super confusing to assemble if you don't want to buy the little house structure. I thought the house seemed like a bit of a rip-off as it was fairly pricy when I was shopping, and it didn't even include very much. My daughter already has a lot of little house toys, so I thought she could just use one of those. That is working fine, as the animals and cages are the fun part. If the directions are going to mesh the two sets together however, I wish they'd just sell them together. Otherwise make them more separate. Even just to assemble the little toy cages and bookshelves took some studying as the directions were so vague. Also this set doesn't come in a box, it comes with a bag without a picture, so it's harder to see what things are supposed to look like. All that said, the little cages and animals are very cute. There are a lot of tiny pieces though, so it may be pretty hard to keep this set together.

Habe ich direkt zurück geschickt, können wir so nicht einpacken und verschenken. Alles war im durchsichtigen Plastic Beutel eingeschweisst.Geht gar nicht.
