If you've been looking for a good quality, multi-function spray gun, your search is over. This bad boy has metal guts packed inside its high density plastic body and is full of German engineered design, coupled with made-in-Germany quality. The first thing that stands out is the variable flow rate, which you can adjust at the back with the ridged knob (easy to turn with gloves on). No longer do you have to fiddle with holding the trigger just right to get the flow you want, or adjusting some goofy stop mechanism either. In fact, another wonderful feature -you don't even have to hold the trigger down at all. Dial in the flow rate you want, squeeze the trigger and then slide down the small orange button at the base of the trigger. This turns the regular trigger mechanism into a click-on, click-off toggle. Squeeze it once, and it stays on, squeeze again and it shuts off. No fatigue from holding it down the whole time. As others have pointed out, and I will re-iterate here, there are no leaks with the spray gun itself. Not a drop! Depending on how tight you reef on the quick disconnect, you might have issues with water moving past the threads because it isn't cut for a North American hose thread, but a European one. For me, it was barely noticeable, but I can understand how it would still be annoying. In my view, however, it's not enough to deduct a star because this is a German product, after all. That and it's just so good! I'm investing a bit more in the Gardena system following this purchase, because the build quality has truly impressed me and far surpasses all the import junk sold in the US at the big box and home improvement stores. If you're tired of dealing with junk and want to step up to a real spray nozzle, give one of these a try. I'm sure you won't go back.

This is the absolute best spray nozzle I have ever used. I am a professional gardener and have used many that were sheer junk. The Gardena is solid, lightweight and so far has made my life easier, which is huge when working long, hot hours in a garden. Having a feature on the nozzle to turn down the water volume is very useful, as is the locking feature to keep the spray on. The lock is easily disengaged and the nozzle has lots of choices for spray pattern. Highly recommended!

I have an older Gardena that has held up well, but is just getting old. I decided to try this one that has more features than the last. First, the handle is different. You don't just hold it down, you squeeze to turn on and then squeeze to turn off. It latches so you don't need to hold handle down. This isn't bad, I just haven't decided if I like this mode of operation. I am very used to holding down for spray and releasing to stop. Next, is the adjustable nozzle that my last one did not have. There are may choices, the mist is very fine and gentle while at the other end, the pencil jet is quite strong. The sprayer feels quite hefty so I assume the insides are metal with a plastic exterior. Finally, the quick stop that attaches to the hose end has a locking feature where you rotate the outer sleeve about a 1/8th turn to lock and prevent accidental disconnect. I never had accidental disconnects with the old quick stops and I find myself constantly locking the quick-release and struggling to remove nozzle while water running before realizing... hey I locked it. Overall a quality products with features that I haven't decided whether I personally need or like. But, that's a personal problem, not a product fault.

I have ordered a several of these Gardena products over many years, and they have always worked well for me, and are easy to use. This particular one appears to be defective, and it leaks profusely at the join between the spray head and connector. I switched to a connector that works well with a used version of the same spray head, and it still leaked. So the problem must be with the spray head itself. I will try to return this defective item.

Of all the adjustable sprain nozzles. I have tried this one continues to be my favorite. It’s comfortable has just the right settings and holds up to regular abuse of being tossed around on concrete and dragged across pavers. According to my Amazon purchase history, I buy one every 3 years, so I keep coming back!

If I could give this spray gun 10 stars I would. It is adjustable in all the right ways. Press the handle lever once to turn the water on, press it again to turn it off. The water flow is easy to adjust. The spray patterns are exactly the ones I need and are likewise easy to adjust. The whole unit is tough but lightweight. Using the Gardena connect system it swivels so you don't have to keep flipping the hose over. No leakage. My previous metal spray gun gave me tendonitis because it was heavy and did not swivel. This one is comfortable to use even when watering a long time. For my new landscape that's 90 minutes a day.

Have used and loved Gardena products for decades and had several models of spray gun. This is BY FAR the best of all. Have used for two seasons, going to buy another. Very easy to change spray patterns and flow. Useful selection of patterns. Sometimes I lay it on the ground under trees and shrubs as a sprinkler. Worth the ~$35 paid, although now it's more than $10 higher. If this is your first such spray gun, remember that it's plastic -- store it out of the sun, don't let it fall on hard surfaces, and drain and store indoors for the winter.

I've purchased this product in the past for mutiple hoses bibs at my home and my expectations were always surpassed, until this time. This one just isn't built as good as the old ones I had that lasted for 5 or 6 years. This one leaks. UUUUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH! I hate wasting water. The old one never leaked. I could leave the hose turned on at the hose bib and pull the hose out and water for a while and when I turned off the nozzle there was no leaking, even if I forgot to turn off the hose bib. I hate that. I DO try to remember to turn off the hose bib, but I forget sometimes and if I forget it on a Sunday evening it might not get discovered until the next Saturday so then I might waste all tha water. It's just a bother I didn't have to consider with the last one. But otherwise it's fine. Works great. Smooth action.

Outstanding spray gun. No leaks, seems to be made to a high quality, the différent modes are useful however for most jobs you find yourself using the same mode. A little pricey but if you want something reliable, comfortable and off good quality, this is it.
