Charging $20 for one pound of beans is clearly just taking advantage of people who are home bound at this time of COVID19. I thought it was ten pounds and realized my mistake too late. My bad. Then there is the charge to return them. So I'll keep them. The beans themselves are fine. But there are other ways to get food without being ripped off on Amazon. Look sharply before ordering.

Their listing changes from 1# to 2# and back. I got stuck with a 1# bag. Regardless, they price gouged during the COVID-19 social distancing and bean-buying-rookie me didn't realize I was getting such a tiny bag for such a high price. I did go to the company to see if they would make it right. They didn't. I also went to Amazon to see if they would make it right. They didn't.

I saved the bag for the longest time to take a picture and finally threw it away. Imagine a bag the size of your hand. That is how many black beans you got for $20.00! This order was from the early days of the pandemic when you felt safer ordering delivery rather than go to the stores. Since then I have gone back to my local organic grocery where the bulk black beans are 2.00 an lb. They worked it while they could!

I paid 29.99 for broken beans, lots of little rocks and dirt. Even after thorough cleaning beans did not cook well. Stayed hard and the broken ones created a mush.

It was originally 20 lbs they changed it to 2lbs and sent me 5lb. Can't return it and amazon chat is protecting the con.

As it reverts to 2lbs at the same price that l paid for 5 lbs. two months ago! I hit the reorder tab to order, printed copy, went back and saw that it was only two pounds and I cancelled! Tried a second time, did it again!

The first bag was okay, but low quality. The other bags were all moldy and I had to throw them away. I would not buy again from this seller
