This thing works well and had a good price when I bought it. Battery capacity seems very good, too. I like that it has 5 volts output on the USB port, and then two barrel jacks with 9 and 12 volt DC outputs and lots of included cables. It's really convenient for powering tons of things, and it's nice as a backup for charging the cell phone for days during power outages. It can also power almost any telescope and telescope accessories out there for several hours depending on your setup. The only thing that's a bit odd is to charge it, you have to turn it off and plug into the 12v output port, which I guess becomes a charging port when you turn if off. I don't know how it responds to things that are incorrectly wired, or if you tried to charge it without turning it off first. When using less expensive and less known branded products like this, I think it's important not to assume anything and read the instructions carefully. Sometimes, online shopping sites that sell lots of these cheap, imported products like this often do not ensure that the products they sell conform to the same standards and regulations we're used to in the US, so it's up to you to determine if a product is safe and has all the necessary certifications, etc. All in all, I like this product and would likely buy it again assuming the price stays comparatively low.

I've had this battery just over a month, so take this review with a big grain of salt. The whole point of a rechargeable battery is that it performs well over time. So soliciting a review after a few weeks can show little when talking about an item that is supposed to last years. I use this unit outdoors to power an Arduino chipboard that accepts signals from the digital encoders on my telescope and broadcasts the information via Bluetooth to my tablet running a planetarium program so that I know where the telescope is pointing. The Arduino box is powered for up to 10 hours. A very busy observing session means I move the scope about 100 times. This takes as close to zero power as any application possibly could. The battery has a row of 4 green LED lights that when all are lit indicates a full charge. Using the battery as I do, the 4 little lights are still lit when I put the telescope away. The wall charger does indicate some drain, but the slow-charging unit (10 hr from flat) indicates a full charge in about an hour. I've used the battery in both low and high humidity (heavy dew) conditions in temperature ranging from 40-80degF. I'll be out in freezing conditions at least once this winter (I've observed at 0degF) and if there is a grossly noticeable difference, I'll amend the review. I've followed the instructions for charging (the battery must be switched ON and the charger plugged into the 12V outlet), about the only operator error possibile barring physical abuse. The battery has worked as advertised every time. So yes, I would recommend this battery and assuming past performance predicts future results (note: a friend has had one of these batteries for 2 years put to the same use) then the $50 I paid is a good investment.

I bought this primarily to power my Masterbuilt Gravity Series smoker direct on the 12v DC connection. I've used it a half-dozen times now and works great. Went 12+ hours on two overnights with it powering the smoker and my Fireboard digital thermometer (via the usb jack) and it only dropped to 3/4 lights after 13 hours. The unit reads 12.6V from a full charge and drops slowly over the course of my cooks (as is to be expected). At 5 hours in, it was still 4/4 lights and 12.4 volts. At 10 hours in, it was still at 4/4 lights and down to 12.2 volts. It switched to 3/4 lights at 13 hours but was still 12.0 volts. I even tried it another day using the USB port with a typical cheap Amazon 5v to 12v converter transformer cable for comparison and after an 8 hour cook (from a full charge) it was still 4/4 lights and 12.3v, so it doesn't seem like using the upscale converter causes any significant power drain. The included power wall wart has an led indicator that changes from red to green when the pack is fully charged. It also includes a Y-adapter cable that allows you to charge the unit while using it, which is very convenient. I've only had my unit about a month but so far so good.

I'm using the 8300 mAh version of this product to power four Wolf Module 4.1 watch winders which are kept in a safe. Some batteries I've tried shut down power if the load is very small, such as when the winders are idling between charge periods. That effectively turns off the winders and wipes out the memory settings. But the Talent Cell stays on and performs pretty much as if the winders were being powered by an AC wall adapter. Before first use, I used the AC adapter to fully charge the Talent Cell, then connected it to the winders, which are all pigtailed together. All four charge LEDs were lit. That was on September 8th. Now, ten weeks later, the Talent Cell still displays two of the four charge LEDs, and all the winders are working perfectly, and away from the view of potential burglars. Because I'd need to run an extension cord into the open safe every 90 days to charge the Talent Cell while it's still powering the winders, I decided to remove it from the safe for charging and not use the splitter cord. This wipes the memories, but it's preferable to hauling the entire bank of winders out of the safe along with the Talent Cell. Bottom line, this is a very good product for my application, and with plenty of life between charges. As a bonus, it cost about half of what I paid for another brand that had about half of the mAh.

This battery is great for taking anywhere to charge almost anything you cannot charge everything on there of course but there is a lot of things that you can charge. It takes about four hours or so to charge up but once it’s charged up, it’s ready to be transported when you leave house or wherever you’re going or even if you’re in the house and Your phone dies or something else! I don’t think I have any complaints. I have another battery the same kind and I thought it was going dead and found out that it was something wrong with the charger did not realize that until I got the new battery with the charger. And then the old one charged up all the way instead of just halfway so now I have two batteries! Lol.😅💖

I used this without problem for a few years until one day I accidentally plugged in a center-ground instead of a center-positive 12V power adapter. The power pack blew up. I would have appreciated if the designers had spent 10 cents on a Schottky diode to protect against reverse polarity power. For this, I am docking it one star. Other than that, it was a decent product; impressed with the battery life. I found it particularly useful that it had both 12V and 5V USB outputs and typically used both at the same time.

I needed a power source that is compact and portable for my CPC 11 telescope and this was what I needed. It is so small and light I was able to attach it to my fork handle. I connected it to my telescope by a 3 foot power cord. No more cord wrap for me. I used it to track an imaginary object in the sky to test it. The battery lasted close to 8 hours. I am very pleased with this battery, had no power issues with my telescope.

I had owned this company's older, smaller version from a couple years ago and couldn't find it come this winter. I ordered this one because the last was great and for the added time of use provided by the larger bank. The older one fit in my M12 chest pocket nicely with an extra power cord that I ran inside the jacket and you never noticed it being there. This one though, is a brick; much larger, much heavier, which I knew going into it but it's just as uncomfortable to have in the back pocket as the larger M12 batteries. The BEST PART is that I found my old one (unused since last winter) still holding a full charge and ready to go! I will put this one on the usb port in my backpack and use it with my jacket when I know I'll be in the cold for a lengthy time. If their battery packs are good enough to hold a charge for about a year without use or charging, there's no way I'm giving this one up. I'll find a use for it!

Bought this to power my Sennheiser wireless guitar receiver Model EW100 G3. Was hoping to get enough out of it for a show, usually 3-4 hours. After a full charge the battery was full at 4 bars. I ran this for 6 hours and only lost one of those 4 bars, very pleased with the result.

This is a versatile Li Ion Power bank, it has a USB-A port which pumps a max of 10 watts @5v/2 amps. I use this to power my MacBook Air M1 late 2021. Although my Macbook Air needs 30 watts to optimally charge, this 10 watts powerbank can still pump a slow current that is at the "half-way" point between discharge and charge rates, so it means while I am using my MacBook Air M1 for light to moderate task, no heavy video editing (4K), and opening at max 10 Chrome Tabs while watching YouTube videos, the battery doesn't really drain. In my opinion, the charge and discharge rates are equal so whatever you have left on your laptop battery, it doesn't go critical low. It may charge but at a slow rate. My MacBook Air M1 is set to Low Power Mode so this helps. Try this on you laptop, my set-up is only on MacBook Air M1 which optimally needs 30W only. I can also use this power bank to charge this MacBook Air M1 via its DC 12V port with a female 5521 size outlet. I use an DC 5521 port to Cigarette Lighter female socket and insert my Anker Nano Cigarette lighter adapter which draws a max of 20v from the DC port rated at 12v. This max draw of 20v is "near optimal" or the lower voltage most of todays MacBook Airs silicon chip can accept to charge its battery while working or use concurrently. Give this a Talentcell 12v Li Ion battery pack a try, its verstile as it has a 10w USB-A port and 2 DC ports, 12 and 9volts if you have simple low power electronic devices that consumes power via a DC port only. Most laptop power banks don't have a strange DC port on them, only a few niche power banks have. I highly recommend this battery pack and brand if you don't mind using some adapters, DC port sizes, and a good cigarette lighter car adapter to feed energy into your MacBook or windows laptop. I would, and have bought it again and again and again. I use them for my video camera. Great quality, they last many charges. I would say at least 5 years.

Was on the hunt for a battery bank that would work with a low power device. Typical usb battery banks will not stay on if the amperage is too low. This one stays on! And seemingly will last a long time based on the capacity!

Absolutely amazing! I use this for my telescope setup and this is able to support a full night while powering the tracking mount, controller, and DSLR.
