Hope Rising

It was as advertised. Would purchase again if needed.

I had the privilege of having Fee lead worship at the National Youth Worker Conference a couple years ago, but had not purchased their first album. At the recomendation of a friend, I downloaded this one and it is really good. There are a number of "radio friendly" songs on it that I fully expect to hear on K-Love when I'm riding in the van with my wife. It also has a mix of church friendly songs that will make their way into services across the country.Overall the album is pretty straight forward musically with a lot of catchy tunes that you can easily sing along to. Many of the songs have fun harmonies and stick in your head. My two favorites on the album so far are Greatly to be Praised (2) and We Crown You (6). Honestly, if you've listed to a Passion CD, you've probably heard a lot of music similar to this. Not a lot of cutting edge creativity out there in the worship music genre. This one's worth listening to though.

This was a gift for a friend (her middle name is Hope). I'm giving this album 5 stars for Rise and Sing and Glory to God Forever, both of which I heard on a video sharing website.

I like this one, but do not love it. The songs are slightly repetitious and is probably the main reason I am not giving it a 5. But I am still glad I have it in my collection. I love:"Everything Falls and a couple others. T rest of the songs are good enough to listen to often, but they just sound an awful lot alike.

The CD is in good condition!

This is a great worship album! They do unmistakable songs with a rock sound but no screeching guitar. Recommended for your collection!

I LOVE FEE AND CAN'T WAIT TILL THEY COME TO TOWN FOR A CONCERT.DIDN'T EVER SEE ANY DATES FOR A TOUR.

Being a little more rock oriented in my tastes I'm ok with a bit of Chris Tomlin or Matt Redman but prefer a little more energy. Fee certainly provide a more lively style. A shame their career was cut short due to band leader Steve Fee's fall from grace, but a good album nonetheless. On balance I still prefer their previous album 'We shine'
