I was forever forgetting or losing track of my daily vitamins so I purchased one of these at our hospital-based pharmacy. I love it! No longer losing or forgetting my daily supplements. So I got one for my hubby for his daily BP meds and now he uses his when we travel. His plastic pill sorter would pop-open and he has lost meds on the floor or down the sink! (Make sure the dog doesn't find them!). That's when he switched to this safer and more convenient way of taking his meds with him. You can also use this for small valuables (key, rings, etc) if you need a safe way to keep them from getting lost. I know of people who put a whole bottle of Nitrostat right in this case; it keeps them dry and humidity-free to ensure a longer lasting product. The top is a screw-on cap with a keying attached, and a tight washer inside the threads to ensure a tight dry seal.
