One of those tools that just makes life so much easier. It’s small and lite so you can keep it in your tool belt without a problem. This is my third one. I’ve had 3 different brands of these over the last 4-5 years and really like them. Just be careful not to drop them. I broke the lifting tab off my last one by dropping it on the concrete slab. My first one suffered the same fate. My second one disappeared on a large multi crew job. Highly recommended.

I used to have one of these tools at a previous job and used it for hanging doors and other things it came in very handy so I'm back doing maintenance at my church and decided to give me another one my personal use around the church and at home

Great tool for lifting full height doors 9’ solid core doors to get them in place for mounting to frame. Great for hanging drywall as well. Made from 1 piece of solid light weight aluminum. Super easy to use providing you have a little uncommon sense.

I was glad to order this when I saw many nice reviews - but putting this to use, a few things made me return this product.Lifting function is not highly functional - when you hang drywalls you need to leave some space from the floor esp concrete therefore you need the lift to push the drywall a bit high. I had to put pieces of drywall underneath and still not quite easy.Rasp - do not expect much out of this at all. It does not compare a normal rasp - which I got from home depot (husky) which worked much better than this.

I’m a union commercial carpenter in Philly and I use this lifter for 10 foot and 12 foot fire rated 5/8 “sheet rock and 3’-0” x 7’-0”fire rated steel doors! It works perfect, fit in my pouch easily without weighing me down or being in the way. It’s great tool especially for the price!
