2013 vinyl LP release. First pressing limited to 3000 red discs, 600 blue (MerchNow), 600 gray (Hot Topic), 300 orange marbled (UK), 250 transparent orange. Second pressing limited to 1500 purple (Hot Topic) discs. This fourth album let's listeners take another trip down The Wonder Years's memory lane. It's a poignant, heartfelt album about growing up, making difficult choices and living with them. There is lots of love and loss and regret on here. Combined with their infectious pop-punk spirit, it yields an entirely life-changing listening experience. Buy one of these. Change your life. 13 tracks. Hopeless Records.

The third in what will one day be known as a trilogy
For those who loved the Upsides and Suburbia I've Given You All and Now I'm Nothing, this album won't disappoint. A slightly more mature sound musically, the lyrics are still as raw and honest as the last two albums. I find myself personally relating to many of the songs. TWY released a studio album prior to the Upsides, and I'm sure they will continue to release albums, but I think looking back, these three will have to be seen as a trilogy of sorts.

Best wonder years record.
I am NOT a fan of this band's older stuff. It was always to generic for me. I had heard their style of music for 17 years. There was nothing fresh. MOVING ON, This album rocks. There is hardly a bad track on this album. I have spun this record about 25 times and it still rocks. This pushes their style to an Amazing record.

The Greatest Generation? Probably the The Greatest Album too!
Probably one of the best albums I have EVER heard. I am someone who listens to albums front to back, and there are some off songs but the content of the whole album more than makes up for it.

DO NOT BUY FROM THE "i-Deals" STORE FOR THIS VINYL ALBUM
EDIT*** This looks to be broken from all vendors, not just i-Deals Store. As I just tried again from Amazon. I'm not sure if they're the same vendor or whats going on, but I believe that the Hopeless Records label for The Greatest Generation shares a UPC with Scene Queens - Bimbocore Vol 2. I've returned this record 5 times, and all 5 times it's been incorrect. WARNING TO ANYONE TRYING TO GET THIS.This has nothing to do with The Greatest Generation. It's arguably The Wonder Years' magnum opus and a true masterpiece. I'm 1 star reviewing this to raise awareness that i-Deals, the seller, has this incorrectly tagged as the Scene Queen Bimbo Core Vol 2 record, and will send you that instead of The Greatest Generation. Twice I've purchased it, twice it's been incorrect. This is for the vinyl release. Not sure if it's an i-Deals issue, a Hopeless Records issue, or how it's being sorted from the plant, but it's incorrect.

Red Vinyl is the freaking shiznit!
This album is a great pop punk album! The vinyl is also red vinyl which automatically makes it cool, there is minimal surface noise on the record. Also, my record came in three days ahead of schedule which was also awesome! Overall it was a great buy as usual with Amazon. I'm greatly satisfied!

Great album
i just discovered this band, they are not really my style (mine being more electronic rock like Muse) but they are really great, the only flaw in my opinion that prevents it from being a 5/5 is that some songs sound too similar with eachother, but that's it. "There, There" is my favorite track from the album & now one of my favorite songs period.

Could have been so much more...
The Greatest Generation has its moments, however it fails to deliver as effectively as its predecessor did. However, Suburbia was such an outstanding album, one can only expect the next to fall a little short.Highlight tracks as far as I am concerned are Passing Through A Screen Door, and Teenage Parents.I would akin this album to Four Year Strong's effort "In Some Way, Shape or Form", in respect that it was a little hit or miss after their last album that really took off.I would really grade this album as a C+, as while it has some catchy tunes, it seems a little disjointed and does not speak to me in the same fashion that Suburbia did.I still think this is an excellent band, really one of my favorites and ill be buying the next album anyway.

Solid Album
Another great album from a great band. Not quite as perfect as Suburbia....I think I was looking forward to this so much that maybe my expectations were a tiny bit high, so it has just fallen shot of what I hoped but a very well written (music and lyrics) album that will definitely stand the test of time.
