Definitely worth buying!
This product is perfect for my family, especially for my toddler with eczema. We are able to have fragrance in our laundry without it irritating his sensitive skin!Okay. It has taken me quite a while to figure out exactly how I feel about these products. But after 4 months, I have figured it all out! I ordered the starter kit and followed the directions but noticed no changes in how my laundry looked and smelled. I have since made changes in how I use thsee products. For the washer I use both green balls and have 5 pearls in each ball. It seems to add more scent but also cleans the clothes better. I do still add detergent, but not as much as I used to.For the dryer I have two old tube socks with two tennis in each. I place one ball and one dryer stick then tie it off and repeat then tie off the sock completely. I do the same with the other sock. Put both in the dryer (I place one in the bottom of the dryer and the other halfway through the wet load) and dry as usual. All my clothes, sheets, and towels come out very soft and freshly fragrant but never overpowering! I came up with this idea after about 2 months of not smelling anything in my laundry and have issues with static in my laundry. The best part is opening my drawers, closet, and linen closet and smelling freshness. I am not even a fan of lavender and yet, I LOVE the fresh smell that this system infuses into my laundry! My only negative is that the screwards lids do come loose so before placing in the washer, I have retighten but it's not that much trouble. Definitely worth buying!

GREAT BOOST TO CURRENT ROUTINE
UPDATE: had a pod that was not perfect and the seller made the transaction to PERFECTION immediately!!for the dryer: i pushed a thin ribbon through one of the vent holes and tied a good knot inside and outside so the pod hangs above my dryer. i use this in conjunction with wool balls to really separate my clothes during the tumbling. yes, it's loud but i always run a full load so the it is not too horrible with all the clothes in the dryer. works will and minimal static (compared to all natural dryer sheets before) none of the natural methods i've tried/used gives me that super fluffy like the chemical sheets BUT that fluff is not worth the toxic effects on us and planet. we do 3 loads average per week: so i use 1 stick and some course himalaya salt a month, i put in a new stick and break the old one in half but leaving them in. the next month, a new stick (break the old into half and toss the older half sticks)for the washer: i have an easy way to remember to replace the ball with my average loads (once every 4 months!) i still do use a push pump squirt (one full pump) for my wash. i treat this as a booster for my current wash routine and not as a replacement. i've used the earth friendly brand of eco laundry detergent for years now and do like it as it contains the least amount of added ingredients. i prop the pod under my top loading washer so i always know where it's at and it allows airing out the machine, too! i guess you can push through a different color ribbon like i did the dryer pod for easy identification as to which one is whichget it, it works well...

SAVE 50% OFF YOUR TIDE BILL & USE YOUR T-SHIRT TO CLEAN YOUR GLASSES AGAIN!
OK, here's how I use it: WASHER BALL: I put 7 or 8 washer pearls in one ball. Still use Tide, but about half of what I used to, in very hard, limescale water. Add a cup of baking soda. That's it. No more pre-treating stains, adding ammonia or bleach, adding Clorox 2, etc. I strictly use cold water only, and still let everything soak 30-45 mins, and I give them 3 rinses. But with Tide @ $18 per gallon (not to mention bleach & ammonia), I am saving some pretty decent spondulix, and the stuff gets clean. Believe me, I would tell you if it didn't, and don't think twice about that. DRYER BALL: I put 5 or 6 of the sticks in there, and tumble everything on low; then about 10 mins. before taking out, while still slightly damp, I toss in a couple of Starwest Botanicals Lavender Dryer Bags- they smell DIVINE! The Dryer Balls really seem to work on the static (and the lavender bags just add a nice whiff); what I love is there's no more of that, you know, kinda slimy, greasy, cheesy, oil-spotted stuff you get from using Downy or dryer sheets. In other words, not sure I would trust this system 100% on its own (if you have, let me know), but for clean freaks like me it's let me save $ on Tide, and no more softeners, and hey! you can actually use your T-shirt to clean your eyeglasses again! Bonus! CAVEAT: First batch I got had a bad lid on one of the balls; it never quite fit & kept coming off in the wash. When I contacted merchant for a replacement, they sent me a whole new laundry system. Now THAT'S customer service.

Love these tumblers!
In an effort to be less dependent on chemicals...I thought I'd give this a try. These are sturdy and have a side screwed on lid where the pellets (for the washer) or cylinders (for the dryer) go in. I didn't notice a scent on the pellets. They cylinders have a nice light scent. Put 5 pellets in one and then put one cylinder in the other. So easy...and kinda fun.I have to admit that I didn't even use detergent on the first load. Two throw blankets and socks came out great. Smelled and looked clean!I have front loaders and the laundry system tumblers worked very well.Since that first load...now many loads later, I have used a lot less detergent...just a very small amount per load with my new laundry system. I'm sure I will save money over the life of the tumblers. No dryer sheets...less detergent. The clothes come out with a fresh smell too.Overall I'm pleased...I'm sure glad to use less chemicals for my laundry.

Cracked cap but still using
As far as helping reduce my laundry detergent use and getting my clothes cleaner and softer these work pretty well but, with less than 10 washes the cap on one has already broken. Without the cap these are useless so, I’m hoping it doesn’t get worse. If it weren’t for the broken cap I would’ve given this 5 stars
