Crazy Corn Cooked Bird Food Rainforest Rice 1 Lbs.

Food is exactly as advertised. I've been feeding my birds (female 30y.o. Timneh African Grey, and a rescue male cockatiel, macaws, male eclectus, cockatoo, Amazon and various conures) for a very lucky by time. Always consistent and I know my feathered friends enjoy that. They used to be partial to the bean mixture and now it's rainforest rice pudding. This particular mix is human grade and I've had guests unintentionally eat a small bit and no complaints there. However, the product is perfect but the price is ridiculous. I will never order this from any seller on Amazon again. I only when I was in a bind and completely out of soft food mix and any other option was unavailable. For a one pound bag of this from the company itself that manufacturers the food (Crazy Corn) it is only $13.67, on here you're getting completely gouged and charged $19.99 for the same. I will now set up auto orders through Crazy Corn website directly (which I strongly urge you to do same) and avoid using the rip off artists here. Obviously if I'm presented with an emergency then I'll do whatever I have to. I try to keep simple beans, frozen vegs, sodium free soup and others around now for food. If you want to compare the prices go to manufacturers website and do so.

I have to give this product a one star, because my birds would not touch it at all. Trouble is, that does not make it an inferior product! I just do not know how to rate with the stars, because if I rated it 5 stars, my birds should be eating it with gusto. Someone else's birds may love it. Mine do not.

My birds love this mix. One cockatiel will sit at the edge of her cage and just STARE at the dish of Crazy Corn outside, waiting for it to cool off enough so I can feed her. The rice noodles are their favorite, but they generally eat everything.

I used to love all the bird food mixes in the Crazy Corn line. I have fed them to my birds for over 20 years. The problem is, almost all corn is genetically modified now, and I cannot, in good conscience, feed this to my birds any longer. If this company would use ORGANIC ingredients I would be happy to pay extra, knowing my birds would not be ingesting genetically modified food. I love my birds like my kids and care about their health!

My three cockatiels all absolutely love this stuff. Its an easy way for me to get them to eat better foods than just seed as they seem to be completely opposed to eating pellets no matter how I try to get them to switch. Its also an easy way to get them to eat supplements such as Missing Link for birds and Living World Prime Powder as you can just mix it right into the cooked mix. I usually feed them only the Crazy Corn mix with added supplements first thing in the morning and then add seed later in the day.

Have been feeding this to my birds for over 10 years, cockatiels and finches. The cockatiels are picky eaters but they love this stuff, especially with some cottage cheese or eggs cooked in with some melted cheese. Have had several comments from vets on how healthy my birds are, I would attribute a portion of this to Crazy Corn.

Great variety in these, lots of nice fruits etc. My bird is a picky brat, which isn't the brand's fault LOL. Lots of his parrot friends love it.

It took while to get all three bags---but the product is as advertised!
