Fits my 2011 ram 1500. Perfect. Dodge did a great design, if the center mirror disk adjuster still is undamaged this replacement snaps in place. See utube for the screwdriver trick..I hit a semi trailer and broke the old one doing 640.00 damage . Repaired with this for under 50.00. But note the auto dim is not featured..I didn't see the driver advantage anyway. New one also better ,sharper ,and wider viewing..excellent..!

Heated yes, but, the dimming mirror is dealer item only. You’ll need to keep the metal tabs off your old mirror as this item does not come with them. Also, the black trim around the factory glass is not needed and will not fit in the housing if you try to use it. Otherwise it fits the mounting bracket just fine and works in all directions.

Dealer wanted to charge me 400 for a while new arm and mirror. This was perfect replacement. Quick and easy to install

Fairly simple install although the instructions were not the best. Only gave 4 stars because this mirror doesn't have the dimming feature. But wasn't advertised as if it did so overall happy with the product. Would buy again!

Mirror is a great replacement and looks good. The price is very good. Although the mirror is not auto dimming it is worth the replacment price compared to $150.00 or more for auto dimming mirror alone. Just the mirror. Yes the bezel is a little smaller. Auto dimming has the bigger bezel. Still, it looks good and works just fine.

The Fit system heated mirror glass fit and worked in my Ram 1500 perfectly. The only issue is that the electrical terminals for the heating wires are a little thinner than the factory terminals. The terminal ends of the wires need to be crimped slightly in order to tighten them. Other than that, perfect.

I made a mistake in ordering this mirror! I'm glad that I only ordered the driver's side. Installation wasn't too bad. I did have some trouble getting the old mirror out. The first thing I noticed was the new mirror didn't have the metal clips that snapped into the mirror bezel on the OEM unit. I found out later that these are definitely required to keep the mirror from becoming disconnected at the top. On my first trip with the new mirror installed I got about 2 miles before it became disconnected at the top. I thought maybe I hadn't snapped it in all the way. Nope. This happened numerous times on my way to and from my appointment. It got so bad that I had to stop at the hardware store and buy some DUCK tape to keep it from falling out. I have since used silicone caulk on the top tabs. I haven't road tested it yet. Hopefully it will hold. If the original mirror hadn't broken while removing it I probably would have put it back on. Buyer beware!

Compared to the $200+ OEM replacement, it's a great deal.I had to replace the driver's side mirror on my 2011 Ram 1500 Sprt because I got side swiped while parked in town, and never did find out who was responsible. Nice, right? My OEM mirror had both auto-dimming and heated functionality. This mirror does NOT have the auto-dimming function. Not that big of a deal, but I do miss it.The mirror fit perfectly into the mirror housing. Because I couldnt use the wires for auto-dimming, you just have to neatly tuck them behind the mirror interior framework. The gap around the mirror is uniform all the way around and has full left, right, up and down clearance with no issues.The downside is the heating. It's not the same as the OEM. During a recent ice storm, I turned the mirrors on to begin heating and melt the ice away. The passenger side OEM fully heated the entire surface and melted all the ice off, as normal. This replacement did not. I did melt some away, but was more concentrated in the center and not all the way around. Ice still remained on the mirror after it went into auto-shut off mode.If you're looking for a much cheaper route than the OEM replacement and dont care much for auto dimming and heat functions, it's a good purchase.Hope this helps!!!

this is exactly what i was looking for, the heated letters are a little bigger than the OEM but nobody will ever notice, its not that big of a difference, its something you have to look for in order to notice. I used it for a 2012 dodge ram, instructions were useful went on youtube found a quick video and followed along with that, didnt take much effort to put in, only part was you do have to push somewhat harder than youd expect to clip it in, i was nervous that id break the mirror with that much force but once i got over that it clipped into place perfectly.

Fit 12 Ram great. This one has good optics compared to lower priced competition I put on the drivers side....edit...however the heating element on this one is a diamond shape in center of mirror that does not heat up a large view as opposed to another listing. Deduct a star or two.

Good fit, looks like the OEM mirror. Remember to save the metal clips from the old mirror, you need to re-use them. As others have said it takes a bit of force to snap in the upper clips. I aimed the motorized bracket downwards so I could brace it with a screw driver while pushing in the mirror upper clips.
