Sterling Silver Green Yellow Amber Oval Ring

I ordered this ring along with the "Light Green Amber Sterling Silver Celtic Lace Ring", both sold by the same company. I bought this ring because I wanted it for my left hand's middle finger, in the picture I'm wearing it on my right hand next to the other ring so you can see how pretty they both are! I've never ordered jewelry online before and was skeptical at first but this ring really caught my eye with the detail and the beautiful shade of green amber. I recieved my purchase two days after ordering it and it came well packaged, bubble wrap and in a small gift box. Out of the two rings this one is by far my favorite, the size of the stone isn't too big and the detail on the setting is cute and intricate. The stone is a very deep green and just georgeous! I couldn't be happier with it! In some lighting it can take on a yellowish hue but in natural outdoor lighting it's a vibrant green. This is an item I would recommend and would buy again for myself or as a gift! :]

I've been eyeing this ring for some time, and I finally decided to order as a birthday gift to myself! Lol I'm SO happy I did! As other reviewers have said, the picture does not do this ring justice! In person the detail is exquisite! Very feminine and delicate looking. It's very comfortable to wear and fits true to size. I only wish it came in half sizes because I typically find that a 5.5 is perfect for my ring finger, which I intended it for. The 6 fits a bit looser but I'm also able to wear it on my middle finger, so it's okay. The amber on the ring I received is a gorgeous olive and the flecks within the Amber give it almost a faceted appearance. It's absolutely beautiful and so much nicer than I even expected! The quality is exceptional. I would not hesitate for one second to purchase more rings from this seller for myself or as gifts. Happy Birthday to me!

Negatives first: order a size larger than you normally wear. These run a full size small! Mine barely fits as you can probably see in the picture. I won't be able to wear it if my fingers swell. Also, I'm not thrilled about the stamping or flaws on the outside of the band. Not enough to return it, but it's still kind of annoying. And finally, the ring itself is MUCH more delicate and tiny than pictured. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing (it's a positive and a negative to me), but if you're looking for a larger sort of chunky ring, this isn't it.Which brings me to the positives: it is really beautiful! Even though it's not quite the style I was looking for, I thankfully ordered it for my ring finger instead of my index based on the review pictures. It's delicate and the scroll work is intricate. It really does look like it could be an antique. I can't say enough about how beautiful the amber is! I honestly can't stop staring at it. I will be ordering more pieces from this company.....just a size bigger than normal.****im trying to add pictures but unfortunately it doesn't seem to be working. Will try later from my computer.

I love the antique look to this ring and the fact that it's not your typical "princessy" or "feminine" ring. The band itself appears to look much thinner than the picture, however (measures 2/16"). The artistry of the ring is pretty detailed and I like the amber set which has a nice dark to light variations. I've received several compliments on it already, including from the bf!Fast shipping. It also came in a nice little ring box.

The pictures truly don't do it justice! The ring itself is stunning, with delicate scroll work. The stone (which for those of you who don't know what amber is, is actually fossilized tree sap, hence the "plasticy" feel) is a gorgeous olive green color with bright flecks. I literally could not be more pleased and excited to have this ring on my hand!

Some of the statements in the reviews were so conflicting that I hesitated to buy this for quite some time. Here are my quick opinions on it:The sizing is true to size. I wear an 11 on my index finger, it fits perfectly. When I compare it to the little chart in a catalog it says it's a size 11.People have implied that there is glitter inside the stone. I think this is people who aren't familiar with Amber in general because what I'm seeing is air bubbles. A natural occurrence in Amber, there are a lot in this ring. Probably even more than I've seen in any of my other Amber jewelry. It does facet the light differently.I'm going to include two pictures. Neither of which were taken in the sunlight. The ring does appear dark, it's definitely not an emerald color But you can tell it is green.People have also mentioned how delicate it is, which is true I like that the band isn't super thick. But it certainly seems durable.I only just got it this morning and I will absolutely come back and change all of this if it turns my finger or the stone falls out or anything of that nature.

Very light and delicate - more so than I anticipated. If you're looking for "chunky", heavier silver jewelry (as I was), this is probably not for you. It is also more "silvery" than the picture, and definitely not green. If you hold it in direct sunlight and move it around you can see the green, but inside (which is 95% of the time), it's simply brown with some yellow flecks inside. I'm disappointed about that - the fact that it was green is the main reason I bought it - but it's still a very pretty ring, and I do wear it.

Great ring. Ordered a size 7 to fit on my index and fits perfectly. Enough wiggle room to wear it won't suffocate my finger but also won't fall off. Looks pretty much like the picture but looks better in person. Hasn't made my finger green which is why I love silver. I'm not a big fan of yellow gold and this goes well with any other rings that I put on.
