Screenwriter's Notebook: Advanced Storytelling Technology

I like handwriting a lot of things, and this is great when I need to write but don't want to lug around my laptop. They have a lot of pre-planning and outline help in the front of the book that doesn't work with my planning style, but it's still nice to have and I just fill it in with other notes that I have. My sister first got me this as a graduation present and I have since bought it again because I like it so much. I wish they had just a book that was full of blank pages for writing instead of all the outlines, though.

This is perfect for me. I get distracted when I work on computers and sometimes can't use a computer (when traveling or in class), so this notebook is perfect for writing my script and organizing my thoughts all in one place.

Great tool, especially when you're starting out with screen writing formats. Lots of helpful pages and plenty of room to write, as well as suggestions for supplemental materials. Did not arrive on time, however.

I'll be honest, nothing beats regular note paper and index cards, but I thought I'd give it a shot. Suffice to say, my son uses it as a doodle covered notepad. Not very useful to a seasoned screenwriter.

useless. just a notebook

This notebook should be considered by anyone looking for a well made, softbound cover, journal for daily use. The paper is deceptively strong and smooth enough for fountain pen ink, and with enough grip for pencil. Actually, this is one of the best papers I have seen for pencil writing and erasing. I recommend and don't understand why this is not more popular. Or is it possible that Luddites only use the computer to buy, but refuse to further participate?
