MARKETTY 16 Hole Multi-Chamber Double Ocarina with Range of Two Octaves

Great product, great transaction!!

This was my second ocarina.It was the least expensive double chamber ocarina I could find... but what's the use since it was out of tune and second chamber pretty much unplayable.My first ocarina is "Night by Noble" and it plays beautifully but is a single chamber ocarina... but still I find myself going back to my "Night by Noble" because it plays much better.

i bought this thing knowing its price was a bit too cheap for a double ocarina. little did i know, the thing is tiny, at least compared to the ocarinas my roommate owns. it fits in the palm of my hand, and the holes are almost too close together to fit my fingers on them. the ocarina is also quite out of tune, it starts in an E octave instead of a C. i personally like the look of it, and do not mind the tune being off, but my roommate (who is a music major on his last year of college) gets very upset whenever i play it. so 2/5 stars for a mediocre product, and for prolonging my search for an ocarina that looks and sounds perfect.i forgot to mention that the second chamber is entirely unplayable, and that i received no songbook of any kind with this ocarina

Came horribly out of tune but at least it looks cool so I would recommend to buy another ocarina if you actually want to play some music with it.

Figured I may as well review this now since I need to order a second one. Looking through the other reviews, a lot of them seem to be disappointed with the instrument being out of tune. The one I have hardly seems out of tune, if at all. I received this early December 2015, and it lasted me until mid April 2016. The reason why it broke was completely on my end (tripped up the stairs with it in hand), but it took about half a dozen equally hard hits without so much as affecting the sound, so I would say it's rather well made. A review I saw when first looking at this product had mentioned that is has a very flute-like sound to it rather than an appropriate ocarina sound, which I have to agree with, but it doesn't affect it that much. Really, for only about $20 including the shipping, I didn't expect that much of a quality product, more of something for me to test if I would enjoy playing the ocarina to build up to a more expensive one of higher quality, but for a casual player like I am, this is likely enough. The only complaint that I have is the general shape to it. It's rather easy to change fingerings quickly with the left chamber, and easy to slide the fingers onto the flat/sharp holes. The right chamber, however, has the flat/sharp key at an awkward position to handle, since the hand as to go at an awkward angle, or the fingers have to be bent oddly to hit it. Other than that, I've had zero problems with the ocarina that weren't failures on my part.

Haven't played with it much yet as i just got it. Sound is pretty clear and you get a decent product for the money. Can't wait to spend more time with this beautiful replica.

My son actually ended up with two different sizes of these he loves them!

Not in tune, not all of the notes play well, not well made. If you buy this make sure it's not for playing music with, it's only real value is aesthetics, even then it's not the signature twelve hole from the game. But you could always hurt peoples ears with it if you want to be annoying.
