Crafters Pick Basting Glue, 4oz

I've used several different types of fabric glue. This glue is awful for basting fabric..it stains and it leaves the fabric rock hard. It is difficult to control how much comes out (too much comes out and in a thick flow).

I was working on a quilting project from an online class, and the teacher recommended using basting glue to help hold the binding in place before sewing it down. She used Quilter's Choice, but I thought it was a bit expensive. I did some shopping on Amazon and decided to take a chance on Crafter's Pick. I'm glad I did. It was less than half the price of Quilter's Choice and works very well. It dries clear and holds well. I would purchase it again.

I am a fan of Crafter's Pick Ultimate, so when I needed some basting glue I thought I'd try theirs. When the bottle arrived a few weeks ago I poured some into a brand new small clear squeeze bottle with a needle tip. I sealed it in a small zipper bag and put it next to my sewing machine. Four weeks later horror of horrors, there was a dime-sized spot of greenish-black mold growing on the stuff. Yuk. This may be just a weird fluke, as I have bottles of all different glues that are *years* old with no signs of mold or off smell. A few may even be a decade old. The original bottle of Basting Glue seems to be OK, no signs of mold that I can see and it smells the same as the day it arrived. Both bottles are stored in the same room. This glue works well for basting but now I am creeped out about using the rest of it.

Works very well. Holds fabric down but doesn't get rock solid. I use it for my applique projects alot. Only draw back is I had to purchase another container with blunt needle attached. The nozzle on this product comes out way to quick.

I think the consistency is too thin. All it did was absorb into the fabric and it never bonded. A waste of money.

Perfect for Halloween! I glued fleece dots on a sweatsuit to make a Dalmatian costume, and they stayed on way better than I thought they would (none came off or even started coming off), and washed off like nothing ever happened.

This glue dries very quickly. It is easy to sew over and I find that it washes out very well.

so far no glue holds on depends and tena pads materal. I even tried super glues.
