Lovely texture to completely naturally madebread.
Extremely fresh when they arrived.Tastes devine they possess a lovely texture no stickiness to roof of the mouth, which is often found in modern bread not too mention the fact that just natural ingredients are used no calcium propionate or emulsifiers.

Really poor
I originally gave these a 4 star review based on the the fact that it tastes great despite being eye-wateringly expensive. Unfortunately, I've had to amend my review given the 2nd pack I ordered. The first pack had BB date well ahead giving me enough time to eat a loaf and freeze the others. Unfortunately, this was delivered by 7 March with a short Best Before date of 4 days later [11 March]. I was away. By the time I got back, the bread, was mouldy and unsalvageable. So the review has been amended to say I was lulled into a false sense of security from the first delivery. I have instead wasted £27 and of course foodwaste which I never do. I won't be ordering again.

Very tasty bread
Great tasting sourdough. Ready sliced which was handy. Sliced a bit thin for my liking but that’s just me.

Organic spelt and rye, long fermentation, hand made, delicious, next-day delivery = great! If Modern Baker could work out a subscription/loyalty model with a discount, that would be perfect!

SIMPLE ORGANIC INGREDIENTS
I like this product I have used it before from a different supplier. I think it's value for money as it's wholegrain spelt and Rye and organic. Flavour wise Rye dominates. It's much better lightly toasted .. as bread in its own it's too dry. This batch has white on the middle of the bread. It's putting me off eating it incase it's white mould?
