So far the camera works and operates as expected. A lot of features in such a small unit, and much cheaper than the DJI model! The delivery was fast, a day earlier than expected! Only giving it 4 stars because the manual provided is very sparse and had to rely on youtube for answers.

I need to fix this issue I've only used it twice and the gimbal is failing can't calibrate it. I downloaded a firmware that is supposed to calibrate it. Still doesn't work. I need help.

The main benefit of this over the Osmo Pocket is that it has inbuilt wifi, which does work with most phones ( I could not get it to work with a clone phone) and the camera controller built into the handle.The wifi does work well with the phone app, which means you can set the phone in a convenient position and then move the camera around as you take photos/videos.I found that the controller toggle on the handle did not always respond in the way I was wanting, and had to fiddle to get it to do the right control. This is mostly frustrating in bright sunlight when you cannot see the small screen easily to know what mode it is in.I will find this mostly useful for casual photo taking when I don't want to be carrying a larger camera and want to discretely be able to take photos.

As a beginner I didn't want to spend too much for something I may lose interest later on. For the price this item exceeds my expectations. Stable video footage. What else do I need it for? It also comes with necessary attachment so you can mount it on dashboard of your car and also the holder will give you an idea to get backpack clipper (buy separately) so you can attach it on backpack strap and shoot without looking too obvious. Be warned, the manual doesn't say much, so be more experimental.
