Dorman 926-879 Negative Battery Terminal

Got this battery terminal connector to replace the old corroded one on a Ford Focus. The old connector has the wire integrated into them. So I used this connector that had a stud on it. Cut and lugged the cables with ring terminals and connected them with the stud. The terminal connector looks to be of excellent quality and has an extremely good bite on the terminal post. Easy to tighten down as well. I definitely recommend this to all you DIYer out there.

Perfect solution/adaptation to factory original wiring.

Purchased this at same time I replaced my damaged positive terminal because corrosion just ate the terminal completely up. Same as the positive terminal by Dorman the material should be a thicker gage for my liking but everything bolted up just as it should for this price range. Would buy again, hopefully not for awhile.

Clamp seems better than the Ford clamp. Stripped bolt in trying to get clamp tight on battery stud. Came up with a hardware store replacement. With replacement bolt was able to get clamp to hold on stud and not turn or slip.

The battery terminal post for my 2014 ford f150 fits on well as the oem one. Except it's easier to tighten down to clamp in place unlike the oem part. Does a pretty good job on maximizing the battery's life for a reasonable price.

Instead of paying a thousand dollars to have both terminals replaced and crimped, you can do this yourself. I replaced positive and negative terminals (only negative here) and it was super easy. My OME terminals were corroded, and my truck would occasionally stall or not start. These work great for my 2012 F-150 XLT

Very good fits 2012 f150 negative terminal and a much better style connector then OEM one which is prone to breaking. Takes 2 minutes to install
