Aji Amarillo Paste (Pack of 2) Rico Picante

Really impressed with this product. The chilli flavour is clean and fresh, not bitter or artificial. A small amount goes a long way, and it blends smoothly into sauces. Perfect for Peruvian recipes but also works great mixed with mayo or added to rice and vegetables. Excellent taste and consistency.

Love this stuff!Such a great tasting paste. Used a whole jar in a batch of stew to make 15 meals for the freezer so is super value!

Excellent for huancaina, mix with boiled potatoes like in a salad, scrumptious.

Delicious flavour

This’s paste is beautiful. We added to to the muscles in white wine source and it elevated the whole dish to another level.

I had a takeaway pizza which used amarillo chilli as a base sauce, and wanted to try it on recipes at home. So far I have only used it on pizza, which was really nice, but I am sure it will go well with all sorts of meals. It is not like any other chilli sauces I have tried, and has its own unique taste, not too hot or mild. I will be looking upPeruvian recipes to try.

The taste it's good, but for Peruvian cuisine standards, this is extremely spicy and does not allow to cook with a generous proportion of it in dishes. Hence you can't have the proper yellow chilli flavor.
