DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!
The quality of this bed is dreadful. It is cheap particle board. We ordered the twin bed for my daughter (not from Amazon) and assembled it ourselves. The construction is inferior and the bed is unsteady and wobbly. We should have un-assembled it and sent it right back, but we were stupid and tired after working so hard to align the poorly-aligned pre-drilled pieces together. My daughter is tiny so I figured the bed wouldn't come down under her, but I am nervous when I sit on it to wake her up in the mornings. Within the year, an interior screw assembly popped through the baseboard - right in the middle of the baseboard! (Please note - this was not due to us assembling it - this screw casing was inside the baseboard and not visible to us until it popped out.) I called my place of purchase, who had to order a replacement baseboard. When their workmen came out to replace the baseboard, THEY broke through the side board just by screwing the two pieces of fake wood together! They of course replaced the sideboard, but the point is, the material is that cheap that you can't even apply a screw to it without splitting it! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!
