GUDOU Case for iPad Pro 11" 2021/2020/2018/iPad Air 4th 10.9inch,Slim Frameless Cover with Magnetic Attachment[Supports Apple Pencil 2 Charging],Trifold Stand Case,Auto Sleep/Wake (Orange)

I purchased this to compare with the Apple Smart Folio for the 2nd Gen Ipad Pro. The only noticeable difference I can tell is:1. The Apple one has felt/soft material lining on the inside flaps that touch your Ipad2. The cut outs on the connecting sides are deeper on the GUDOU (so minor that I won't even address it again below)Since I already have a Paperlike screen protector, the no soft lining isn't a deal breaker for me. I really purchased this case to have a way to prop up my device and add some nice color. Great case to use at home. Definitely would not recommend for traveling since the sides of your Ipad are definitely going to get scratched up and it doesn't seen to have a lot of shock absorption (neither does the Apple one though).Overall, serves as a nice cover for cosmetic purposes, is lightweight, and design is the closest I have seen to the Apple smart folio without soft lining.Also, no fishy smell on mine...I may have just gotten lucky.*edited 7/17/20*I noticed that the seams are actually splitting. It's not terrible, but sort of lame that it's only been one day with minimal use and it happened. Took off one star for that.

At more than half the price of Apple's folio case I'd say this is a great dupe and I was impressed with the quality. It fits my Pro nicely with a slim and lightweight feel, the back magnet has a very strong hold and the cutout for the camera is spot on. I bought the "dark green" color which I'd say is just a bit darker than Apple's Cactus color but it's a nice color nonetheless.My one negative however, is definitely the smell.... the velvety material on the inside has a very off putting fishy scent to it. I've had the case for about a month now and you can still smell it. Although, it's not as strong as when I first received it. With that being said, the odor is not strong enough to deter me from using the case since I can really only smell it if I bring it close to my face.

This is pretty much like the official apple folio just without the logo but for a fraction of the price. Kinda shocked at how nice the quality is. Everything came in good condition, no scuffs, stains, etc. Slim profile, very light weight. Works just like how you'd expect.I was concerned when reading other reviews about the smell and now I understand. I was thinking maybe it's probably like a plastic-y chemical smell. No, It smells like a dead fish. Not sure why it smells like that but that's the best I could describe it, pretty strange and off putting honestly. I doused it with air freshener and let it air out. The smell sort of disappeared but still lingers, definitely better than before.Other than the fishy smell, I recommend it lol. The color looks great and all together seems like it'll hold up nicely overtime.

I really like how thin this case is. The color is also very pretty. Close to a forest green.Like a previous reviewer mentioned, the case does smell. I think it has to do with the magnet used to make the iPad “sleep” once you close it. The soft material inside reacts weird and causes an odor. If I remove the iPad, the odor disappears. I sprayed the case with a room freshener and it seems to help.If you like thin cases and don’t mind a mild odor, this is a good case.

This is exactly the Apple case without the Apple logo stamped on the back. It’s similar to the catus color on apple’s website. It either stop smelling like fish due to the reviews, or it never did. Sometimes people have upper lip issues. I don’t know. The case fits the 2018 and 2020 iPad Pro models perfectly. I mean perfect. ESR cases do not. The lining in the case has a great micro fiber feel to it. It’s 50 bucks cheaper than the Apple case is looks Nice. You won’t regret it.

I like the dark green color. I think it’s a little darker than the Apple official “cactus” color.Weird odor came on the case when I first got it but I just sprayed some fabreeze and it was good.Overall solid build for the price. Don’t expect much drop protection, this is just to avoid scratches and have a built in stand basically.

This is a durable case in my favorite color. I wanted something with a magnetic background for when I am walking around with my iPad Pro. This one is the best. Ease of use. It actually turns off the screen when I shut it. I've had cheaply made ones that just do not do that and my battery dies because of it.

Great case. Very similar to the Apple one. The magnet to prop it up isn’t as strong though. I have to adjust a few times. Great bright orange color.

Mi primera impresión fue buena, pero cambio cuando lo instalé en el iPad, me gusto como se ve, está totalmente imantado y la tapa se ajusta perfecto en todas posiciones, el único detalle fue que los acabos aunque parecen de buena calidad, están muy lejos de serlo, a los pocos minutos de despegó la costura de una esquina, no duró ni 1 hr. La verdad hubiera esperado un poco más de calidad en los acabados considerando el precio, supongo que tendré que comprar otro próximamente pero ahora tendré que invertir en uno original, por que está versión china está muy chafa.

Es un buen protector considerando el precio pero me parece que hay muchas cosas que se podrían mejorar.Primero, en cuanto a resistencia me parece que esta muy bien pero no se siente de tan buena calidad a como se esperaria viendo las fotos. Tiene textura un poco como de goma. Eso si, cubre un poco más allá de las orillas y eso es algo que se agradece. Segundo. Los acabados de las orillas no se ven tan bien hechos. Se nota como pegaron las dos capas de material ya que en medio se alcanza a ver color azul cielo.Y tercero. Aunque el color si es muy parecido al de la foto , es ligeramente más claro en persona, se ve más apagado.En conclusión me parece una funda bonita y muy resistente pero considero que conviene gastar un poco más en otras opciones de mayor calidad ya que siento que mi ipad ya no se ve tan “premium” con esta funda. De cualquier modo siento que si me va a servir muy bien los primeros meses en lo que compro otra de mejor calidad.

La funda está excelente es casi idéntico que el original y el color es muy bonito! Tenía miedo por el tema del olor que vi en otros comentarios pero la mía llegó perfecta, ningún olor desagradable. Es una excelente compra si no buscas mucha protección y te gusta el smart folio original pero no quieres pagar 2 mil pesos.

For the price i expected the item to work as described. Unfortunately the Sleep/Wake function does not exist/does not work. As per attached photo, final section of the front of case sits up and does not close properly, however, even if i press the case against the iPad screen it still does not turn the iPad off. Sleep/wake is a critical function for battery life so this case will need to be returned, a very frustrating outcome.

La funda resultó ser mejor de lo que esperaba, se siente de calidad, los imanes muy resistentes y la función de bloqueo funcionando bien. El único pero que podría ponerle es que al poner la cubierta en triangulo, no se sostiene muy bien si la estás moviendo seguido. Buen producto.
