Solid Build and Reliable Power Adapter for Case Fans This 2-pack Molex to 3-pin/4-pin fan adapter cable turned out to be exactly what I needed for a couple of older PC cases I’ve been refurbishing. Each cable is 10 inches long, which gives you just enough slack to route it neatly without having excess to manage. You won’t be able to control fan speeds or monitor RPM through these adapters, since Molex just provides full 12V power. In my setup that wasn’t a problem, as I just wanted constant airflow, but if you’re looking for speed control, you’ll need a fan controller or motherboard header. Bottom line: A well-made, inexpensive solution for powering extra case fans from a PSU Molex connector. Simple, reliable, and exactly what it claims to be.

A year later, and these still work perfectly in my E-ATX server, which has at least eight cooling fans in it (five of them being 140mm), so they obviously outnumber most mainboard fan header counts! These are a very useful, and inexpensive solution for maintaining the ability of adjustable fan speeds among each section/group of fans on each board header, as opposed to resorting to 5V/12V 2-pin molex or SATA power adapter cables with static, inflexible fan speeds, which can either be far too loud, or provide insufficient airflow between voltages.

The wires have the wire cover on it which makes it look elegant and neat. Everything is good about the cable except the solder point where the wire connects to the pin. Where the wires connect to the pin in the MOLEX connector is, in my opinion, the point that is most likely to fail.

Low price, very fast shipping, great deal for the money. I connected the 2 fans on my radiator to a single cpu fan header they are set up as push/pull, the pushing fan is the master and the pull fan is the slave the power is transmitted to both so they operate synchronously, Speed is determined by the 4 wire master which works great, since there can only be one master.

Needed to expand and add a few more fans to my PC. I didn't have enough pins on my mobo so had to get this to add molex cables. Works like a charm, no shorts. 2 front, 2 middle, 2 top. Will be adding one more to the back. Cpu cooler has 2 already. My case will have enough airflow.

No issue to install them. Enough long too.

Used these to supply power to a bunch of fans in my tower PC. Convenient to power several fans from 1 molex connection.

Does the job. But very loose ends.these connectors are really cheap and want to bend when u plug in. Beware.

When I received the product, and I did order 2 sets... I thought I'd ordered the wrong product at first... One set was the molex plugs as ordered, but the other set is the sata power connector. I do not know if the supplier ran out or thinking that a customer would not make a difference; since most power supplies have the sata power connectors for drives and such... It would be nice to be informed ahead of time if they ran out in stock... there are certain power supplies I have that only have Molex 4 pin connectors and no sata power connectors.
