Worthless!!! The Plastic Caps are better than the RCA Caps
This will be brief: Don't waste your money on these RCA Caps as I did. The caps look good in the pics and video but in reality, the caps are crap! Not even close to fitting properly - too loose & basically will fall off if you move your receiver (or other device). I suppose the "mold" that the seller used when making these "RCA" caps is based upon a different "RCA" standard. In a nutshell, the RCA caps are garbage. The only reason that I did not give this product one (1) star, is because the twenty (20) cents worth of plastic caps included did fit well and convinced me to abandon any further idea of buying any more of these "fancy" RCA caps. Instead, I am going to find a seller offering nothing but the twenty cent ($0.20) plastic caps!MP.S. Just in case you are wondering, no, there is no way to adjust the caps as you would any other male RCA connector. After spending all of two (2) minutes with my new fancy brass/gold RCA caps, I chunked the lot of them into my brass/copper recycling bin. Did not give it a second thought!

A simple device that works
Shorting caps for RCA audio inputs have been around for decades. Put these on the unused inputs to insure that you don't inject stray noise into the system. Most amps will have a low enough input impedance that stray noise will be shunted to ground, but these shorting caps are an inexpensive insurance policy.

Perfect
These are perfect. Anyone that said they fit too loose are not putting them on correctly. You need to push them on hard. If anything they might fit a little tight but they will not fall when moving equipment around. Solid brass.

Good value works as intended.
These work well and the price is right. I see that the other reviewer though that the rca is too loose.I see how the person came to this conclusion. There are 2 stages of engagement1 its just loosely fits in the socket2 you have to push it quite hard to actually engage this to the rca socket once it engages there is no way it will just drop off. In fact its really hard to remove it without using some sort of prying tool. I am quite sure the first reviewer never actually got it beyond the first stage of engagement. I think if you put it on and off a few times it becomes perfect.

Improper fit on every plug I tried
Very loose fit. Had to carefully crimp with channel locks. Still a very loose fit. Ended up taping over plug, wrapping tape around cable as well to keep from slipping off later.Try a different brand. Typical Chinese quality (requires rework/modification/improvement/compromise)

Did the trick!
I was getting a hum from my Bose Acoustimass subwoofer unit when I didn’t attach the center and rear speakers and left their RCA ports open. On a hunch, I purchased these and plugged them in. Problem solved!

Sound improvement
Reduces the noise floor of your audio equipment by shorting the unused inputs. Check the center pin to make sure they are tight before installation. For the price, these work well.
