A job only half-completed, sad to say!
(1) Four stars for the wood -a great idea! Feels and looks good. The swelling where the wood is positioned is just right to make this pen quite ergonomic. (2) Five stars for smooth writing. (3). But two stars for the plastic portion (the rest of the pen) as it feels cheap in contrast to the wood. Either construct those parts from a tough, heavy resin or from metal, and charge more.Don't buy this pen. Do yourself a favor. Spend a few dollars more and get the version where the entire barrel is constructed from wood. That just might work. It certainly looks good! On other sites that pen goes for $16, so at under $9 here, it is a bargain if it has a quality feel.

Cheap and disposable!
I expected more from this pen but then again it was fairly inexpensive. Basically the entire is plastic! The wooden part is probably the most sturdiest part. Its ok for the price, but I like pens with some weight. I will most like give this pen to a friend or just intentionally leave it behind somewhere. So not worth sending back to the company for a few bucks.

One Star
Small amount of wood. Lots of plastic. Not worth it.
