Gugou QR skewer and front wheel riser block: ruggedly built products of obviously excellent quality.
When I first set up my bicycle as a trainer, using my new Ohuhu trainer stand, I realized I needed a front wheel riser block as well. I purchased the Gugou riser block because of its low price, and because it included a quick release rear wheel skewer as well.I am very pleased with my purchase. Both products are ruggedly built and of obviously excellent quality. The front wheel riser block does an excellent job of holding my bike’s front wheel firmly in place. (It turns out my bike does not have a quick release rear axle, so I don’t need the skewer.) Both products highly recommended.

Do Not Buy & Dangerous: Rod is not strong enough to withstand 1 months' use and snapped
I have owned this skewer 1 month and kept it on a 51cm carbon road bike to for when I brought the bike indoors to ride on a trainer on cold mornings. I bought this version because the original skewer's latch does not fit into the ends of the trainer that holds the rear axle. I washed the bike, removed both wheels to give the frame, chain and derailleurs a good cleaning, remounted the wheels and stored the bike overnight. The next morning, I noticed the rear wheel was loose when I took it out for my ride. I saw the skewer end extended 4 inches where it was pushed out by the spring; the other end of the steel rod closest to the closure snapped off. I was lucky as this could have been the cause of a severe accident.

Does the trick, but quality lacking
Does the trick and holds my bike up. That's about it.Quality is somewhat lacking. The skewer is like all the others.The stickies underneath the riser block fell out within days. Honestly, its easy to put back but its annoying to do it everytime.Wish they came with better glue. Otherwise, functionally it does its job for the cost it has

They work
I got these to put my bikes on an indoor trainer. The existing QR skewer’s tab was preventing the secured mounting so these is a must for me. Average quality and they work as advertised. No complaints.

Not as described
The description said “1.5” rise”. That’s not what I received. The one I received is only a 0.5” rise. Bummer.

Cheapo trainer set for getting started on the turbo. The skewer is poor quality and the riser block slides on my mat.
