Great sewing machine cabinet.
This sewing machine cabinet is very sturdy and it looks great. The assembly instructions were easy to follow. I’ve purchased Sauder in the past & have not been disappointed.

It works for me!!!
I needed a table for sewing, did a search and found this cart. I haven't actually used it for sewing yet. It was easy to assemble, I called upon my husband for assistance, it took a couple hours. Maybe around three I would say to include unpacking and final assembly. It is on wheels which is really great because I like to maneuver it around my space a bit. It doesn't take up much space which is great, and it looks very nice too. The storage is great, and much needed. I stored most of my sewing needles, baskets and whatnots on the shelves, and my sewing machine underneath. Very tidy! It seems fairly sturdy, but probably needs to be handled with care for longevity, especially in my case because I may move it around a bit more then other users will, across carpeted floors where there is more traction. That is why I am giving it just a four star rather then a five star rating. I am sort of torn on this because the price is very good. I shouldn't expect a hardwood piece of furniture for this price and its better then many other furniture products I have seen. So, after having said all this, I am glad I purchased it, it looks great, and it satisfied my need for a sewing space!

Good table for price but not great
My Wife likes her new table and is very excited to start using it. The Good: Once assembled it does look good. The storage is an improvement to her bins and sewing on the cabinet top will me much better than the card table she currently uses. This will accommodate the sewing and serger machines for storage and usage. The top flips to expand which is great and the 2 doors to the left open up to add some leg room to work and to hold the flipped top in place. They have added a pin to push up and keep the 2 doors under the opened top. Very secure idea. The doors do look pretty good and the knobs are ok, but we will be replacing them with some better looking and better quality knobs. To repeat, the storage capacity is good. Assembly is not as easy as others have said. I am a very experienced handy guy - Have done extensive remodeling, built several of my own decks, shed and recently completely remodeled our kitchen, Designed, demo'd and built. We had ordered RTA cabinets, put them together and installed - removed the soffits to increase to 42" tall wall cabinets. Any way I am well qualified. Including going through the parts checklist as we unpacked, reading the instructions start to finish thoroughly and the assembly, took me (with much assistance from my Wife) about 2 1/2 hours to complete the assembly. So I say, to adjust your expectations on time to assemble, but if you follow my steps and take your time (Do not rush ahead), this can end up being a successful fairly easy assembly. What we did not like: The wood is called engineered wood. This is NOT engineered wood like you find on floating floors, this looks and feels like pressed wood. But for the price I guess it is what should have been expected - Under whelmed with the quality. The back board is just a thin pained piece of cardboard. That is just such a cheap way to go and is opposite of good quality. The box came with some holes in it and the smaller shelf pieces were sliding around, but nothing was broken. Should have been package a little bit better. Some concerns the the wheels will roll around the hardwood floor which using it. The 2 wheels do lock up, but the table stills moves around very easily just dragging those 2 wheels. Overall, for a brand that has been touted as a good brand, this was less than I expected for over $200. For those who got here, some assembly tips. Read carefully and do not turn the castors to tighten before you are told to. Near the end, you will assemble the left and center doors together. You will need to keep a small space between the 2 doors to allow the "Safety Pin" to be pushed up into the hold that is on the underside of the "Flip top". Basically you may need some adjustment to fit the pin, but too far of a gap and the double doors will scrape the right door. Assemble this on carpet if possible, like they say, this wood can easily scratch. When attaching to "Flip top" it is easier to put the cabinet on it's top, then you can keep support and alignment to attach the hinges that hold the top.

Great Sewing cabinet
It required a second person toward the end of set up to put it together. The instructions were easy to follow. The size is perfect and having the cabinet close up makes it very nice when not in use.

PERFECT table for the sewing ballers on a budget! :)
I've always wanted a functional sewing table and after using a generic white 6 ft folding table for over a decade, it was time to upgrade! I started my research by checking out the high end sewing brands (Kangaroo, Koala, Arrow, etc) and QUICKLY decided that I'm not ABOUT to spend one to three months worth of mortgage payments on this thing. WHO. DOES. THAT?!?! (No, I mean I REALLY want to know who out there is buying those???? *side eye* lol!) Just kidding but seriously...this is a market that is obviously ripe for some competition..... GASP! Anyhoo...after gathering my breath and placing my order I waited patiently for my cart to arrive. As Murphys Law would have it, there was a snafu with my order. Based on the shipping label it appears that it was drop shipped directly from Sauder and apparently someone fell asleep in the warehouse and pulled a TV Cart instead of a Sewing Cart. REALLY?! (You had ONE job!) I cannot blame Amazon and I didn't discover the error myself until after I had already taken EVERY. DARN. PIECE. out of the carton. I called Amazon within an hour after delivery and they placed a replacement order at no cost and set up for UPS to pickup the return for the next day. About 5 days later I finally received the correct item. Sauder packed this item really well. It arrived shrink wrapped in order to ensure no damage in case the outer box got dinged up during shipment, which it did. Lol! But there were no missing pieces or components - yay! I give Sauder an extra gold star for adding a website link to the instruction manual that allows you to view an assembly VIDEO - HOW cool is THAT?! The instructions were clear, concise and easy to follow. I have purchased and assembled wayyyy MORE "faux furniture" than I care to admit over the years, so I was delighted to discover that there were no weird defects and this cart came together beautifully - it exceeded my expectations for the cost. I'm a very practical person, so what truly sold me on this cart (besides the price - HELLO!!! :)) is the utility. The LAST thing I needed was another pretty table with no functionality. It has an extra leaf on the left side that can be lifted to extend your workspace another 16 inches - SWEET!!! I insisted on reading the Amazon reviews before purchasing and made a mental note of the suggestion from others to keep the leaf extended and just add some storage units underneath the leaf to support it - GENIUS! There are two storage spaces on the cart - one on the right side that has 2 shelves (I used it to store my sewing machine) and a 2nd storage space behind the front door (I used it to store my embroidery machine). There are also 2 removable bins hanging on the inside of the front door that can be used for small supplies. The cart also has wheels for easy of mobility. What else could you ask for for only $160 bux?! If you have 3 stacks to blow on a fancy sewing table then....well, I hate you. Haha just kidding - lol! But I would recommend you get THIS table instead - and spend the rest of those hard earned coins on fabric and margaritas! Happy Sewing! :)

A great find at a great price.
I bought this to replace another inexpensive sewing table i had that did not withstand my move. I really wanted white but could not justify an extra $50 for white. The cinnamon cherry is beautiful and likely will be more forgiving overtime to use. It took me only 45 min to assemble. The directions were pictorial and instructional making it very clear and easy to follow. I strongly recommend taking time to lay each piece out with its assigned lettering to stream line assembly. I also use on large styrofoam piece that was inside the packaging and stuck all the hardware in it. The hardware arrived loose in one big bag and this made it very easy to inventory and select as each piece was needed. As a 40-somehting female, I did need assistance to bring the entire box upstairs but one could easily have taken out the pieces and carried them upstairs over several trips. The doors were a bit challenging to screw on without a second set of hands, but i used my shoe and knee to leverage and was able to do so alone. I absolutely needed help pushing in the castors. I was only able to insert 2 out of 5 by myself- they are a snug fit and the angle (if following instructions) was not ideal. This table is cute, structurally sturdy and will be a great addition to my craft room. For roughly $100 you cannot beat the quality. the only CON i could identify is the cheap horizontal plastic beige bins that run on the inside of the door that swings open to support the extended table top. I was not going to mount them but they are really functional and have nice dividers. I store the table closed unless working at it- so all in all, its just fine. (note: different finishes have different prices)

Excellent option no matter what your sewing skill level!
From my wife: This review is late in coming. I got this as a Christmas gift from my husband. And when I say -a gift- what I mean is, I helped him assemble it, wrap it and place it next to the tree in 2020. Assembly was easy. All our pieces and hardware were there and easy to assemble. We did so quietly enough after the kids had gone to bed. After Christmas, it went downstairs into what was going to be a crafting area, then quickly came back up to our dining room where I could multitask while crafting. A note- it doesn’t work well on carpet. In the dining area, we have a hardwood floor. This is exceptional because when I have larger projects, I can immediately pull the craft table toward me and keep working as I sew, then tuck the table back when those larger portions are complete. I initially kept the cart closed between projects, lowering the side table. But I have long since given up on that. Using the expanded table and trays for a ton of storage and active work area. (More on this relevance later). The hardware is quality. No grinding, skidding, slipping, shifting or breaking in 2 years. The magnetic doors work exactly as they should. The cabinet side houses thread and some fabric, though this will likely change soon. What adds to my love of this cart is that, in 2021, I also got a serger! So this little cart now houses my sewing machine on top and my serger on the bottom together with a thread caddy. To swap between projects is a breeze. The leg room is a bit shallow. So I usually sit back a little bit. However, it makes it easy for my 10 year old and 7 year old to work at my sewing machines too. They have been working with me for the 2 years I have had the table. I return to the storage area topic. This has excellent storage and it has served quite well for these 2 years. It’s in like new condition. It’s staying! However, I got a cricut! So now I need more storage and surface work area. This led to more searching for a second craft table. Which brings me to Sauder. Two years with this product and hands down- I recommend it. As I expand my crafting, I am looking at a second Sauder product to meet my cricut needs.

Love this cabinet. It is well made and good and sturdy for my sewing needs !! I do a lot of sewing so I try to keep my area ready to go !!! I enjoy that i have the option to close it down if I so choose. I have a Sauder Computer unit that I have had for many years and love it so when I saw this I knew it was good quality .

Excellent Work Station
This table sits at a very good height for working on crafts, sewing, homework, what have you. I actually didn't expect to use it for much more than sewing, but it's become my main workstation for everything since the height is comfortable. It doesn't have a hue amount of storage (the two bins on the left for holding smaller items, the shelf underneath and the cabinet space) but since it has that "fold up/become smaller" feature, I understand why that is. It's definitely an OK amount of storage, and if you keep it open the majority of the time, you can add some extra storage underneath the left side. The only thing that really bothers me is that fingerprint smudges show so easily. It's impossible to keep it really clean, but I get out the cutting mat and I can't see it anyways, so it's a very small concern. Some of the pieces also arrived slightly damaged (one piece was chipped and one edge on the front was a little crushed) but it's nothing too noticeable. Overall, this cart had the best value (storage and workspace vs. cost) for me and I don't regret the purchase for a second. TL;DR Pros: - Good height for working on crafts, sewing, homework, what have you - Customizable shelf height in the cabinet - Very sturdy - Good value Cons: - Arrived damaged in places (very minimal, hardly noticable) - Fingerprints and smudges show easily

Quality sewing cart
I recognized the company, and ordered this for my cottage. I was concerned about damage during shipping...this got delivered just fine. The directions were VERY well explained and with a sense of humour which was great. It looks nice assembled. There’s only one small annoyance...there are stickers to label the pieces...the top right side had a sticker on it. The company might want to rethink where to put the stickers (on the wrong side) as I had difficulty getting the adhesive off. The plastic door trays are awesome...you can configure how big each slot is by not putting all the dividers in. It’s plenty big and houses my machine and supplies...when I’m done it neatly closes up. This is similar to those fancy expensive carts you see at Sewing and Quilting stores. Totally recommend.

Great cart for my Cricut!
I am really please with this desk. It is very sturdy. It has ample room to hold my Cricut cutter as well as my computer tower. I love how everything closes up to be clutter free when not in use. The storage racks are very handy, and the extra workspace that the fold up table provides is excellent. It also went together easily and arrived very quickly. I would recommend.
