Regular local skier/part-time weekend "Liftie" ... I *love* these gloves.
As a regular weekend "Liftie" at a northeast ski resort, I *love* these gloves. I have both the 1927KWs and 901s. I do a couple of treatments of SnoSeal using the oven trick to get them ready for outside work. (First : Use a Sharpie permanent marker for your your name or initials on the leather portion. Second : I warmed my gloves in a 200-180 F oven for 5-10 minutes, then applied the SnoSeal to the warm leather of the glove...twice) I have three pairs of the 1927KWs and a pair of 901s as my backup ski gloves. The 901s are a little more durable because of the additional leather but do not break in as quickly and not quite as flexible. (but I love them too for the colder days) I purchased a pair of these 1927KW everyday wear around the house. Since we are getting close to the end of the season & the price drops (occasionally), I am going to purchase a couple more pairs for my inventory. I have recommended these gloves to my various coworkers at my "day job" job for shoveling and snow blowing. Once these gloves are broken in, they will be your favorite "go-to" gloves. Not the gloves I would reach for in the coldest of weather. As other reviewers have mentioned, look around at many of the local regular skiers, ski patrol and lift operators, you will see a lot of these gloves. Update : After yet another season at the mountain as regular skier & part-time Liftie, these Kinco gloves continue to meet or exceed my expectation. In fact, I have purchased these gloves for two of my daughters and encouraged my brother to purchase a pair as well. They are just great winter work gloves and "every day wear" gloves. I have three pairs of these gloves for work now, one to wear while the other two are drying out from the previous days. Because of the great price of these gloves, that is easily affordable. However, they dry out over a heater vent just fine. Remember to apply your favorite leather treatment afterwards.

Buy these for the winter!!
These are very comfortable and warm on the inside. They have a nice protective leather to keep your hands warm. They're pretty water proof, and the size was a little snug but fit well. I'll go a little bigger next time but I'm very satisfied with these and the price is pretty good as well. Great for winter work.

Great Value and fun to personalize
These Gloves are the standard starting point for creating a wonderful custom retro ski glove. Here is the formula: These Kinco Gloves + Snow Seal + Toaster Oven + Careful application = waterproofed, customized gloves that fit perfectly, are water resistant, and look cool. The Lift attendants and snow gun operators are often among the best skiers at the mountain. They don't go for the latest fashion sweeping the industry. They tend to be old-school. They have been using these gloves, treated in this manner, for a long time. I love the look and feel of these, and the process of treating them is a lot of fun.

Buy these. Simple as that.
These are my favorite glove. durable, cofortable, and reasonably warm. Use for anything from skiing to work around the house. I treat with a waterproofing wax when i first receive them, and it works great to make them all weather and i feels like it adds to the overall durability of the leather over time as well. Note that for extreme cold when my hands are NOT active, these are not warm enough. But for most work around the house, and for skiing when its above 10F or so, these usually fit the bill for me. Don't buy a pair - buy at least 2-3 right away as you'll need them and sure enough, when you need a second pair, it will be mid season and they'll probably be out of stock in your size like what happened to me! You'll never buy an expensive pair of ski or other specialty gloves again.

So far so great! But they cost too much...
I work in the woods a lot, cutting down trees for firewood, cutting them up and then splitting all the wood by hand. Gloves dont last long with me. Even so, I keep looking for gloves that will last longer than other gloves that Ive used, protect my hands better and keep me warmer while I work in the winter months. I think these gloves by Kinco are pretty much the best pair of gloves that Ive used so far. They are a little expensive though. Usually, I buy the cheap, yellow style of work gloves. They work reasonably well but I go through a lot of them. I thought Id try these Kinco gloves at nearly nineteen dollars and see how they compare economically speaking. If they last me as long as nineteen bucks worth of cheapo yellow gloves do then Ill keep buying the Kinco's when needed. I will say one thing though: The cheap yellow gloves cant even come close to comparing to the comfort and warmth of the Kinco's. Even so, Im not looking to "pamper" my hands while I work in the woods. I just want a balance between comfort/utility and cost. Ill try to come back here and post my findings. I took off a star only because of the high cost of the Kinco's.

Awesome ski gloves!
As many others have stated, these are the best all-around ski gloves I've ever used. A ski patrol friend told me about them back in 2015, so I bought a pair. Now I know why so many ski patrols, lift operators, lift mechanics, instructors, and other ski area employees, and local ski junkies wear these gloves. They're rugged and warm enough for all but the coldest days, ant they're exceptionally cost-effective. I have a pair of 901's stashed in the truck for those cold days and a pair of Gore-Tex gloves for the wet days. I have two ski seasons (over 120 days) on this first pair of 1927KW's, and expect to get at least another season or two out of them.
