Not for certain uses…
I wrote a different review before, and I cannot find it to amend, so just going to start over.First and foremost- this is not a check valve to use under direct pressure.I installed my valve after my mechanical fuel pump on my 1975 Bronco with a 302 V8. Basically installed between the fuel pump and the carb. With light pressure and regular driving it worked. The moment I gave it a heavy pedal for any length of time, my bronco stumbled and died.I ended up having to remove it on the side of the road. The weird part was that I had pressure building before the check valve. The other problem was that the body started coming unscrewed, so I had gas streaming out of a hairline opening. After discussing with several mechanics, the check valve should be installed between the tank and the fuel pump. The draw pressure from the pump will open the valve just fine, and when the pressure is off, the flap will seal and prevent any gas from running back.So if you are going to use this, remember- it has to be installed BEFORE the pump to work properly.

Great quality
LikeOrdered for gasoline line

Probably works better for fuel
Decent quality, but probably better for liquids, but leaks vacuum a bit when used as a one way valve for vacuum

As advertised
One way valve works perfect

Quality and correctly sized
Nice construction, used for pond water feature rather than fuel so s tad over engineered for the purpose but I like that. Good fit well made.

Doesn't fit 1/2 fuel line
The barbed ends are much smaller than 1/2, considerably smaller, maybe 3/8. Was not impressed with quality either.
