Cryoderm Cold Gel 16oz

Why I bought it:During a recent hotel stay I managed to pinch a nerve in the base of my neck which caused severe, persistant pain all down my left arm and in my upper back and chest. After a visit to my chiropractor, he recommended using CryoDerm between visits.How I used it:Used in combination with a freezer gel pack and minimum doses of Tylenol (2 at a time, 2x per day), it is the only thing that gave me any consistent pain relief. The smell is pleasant to me, but only lasts for a short while though the effects last much longer. It gives a very cool/cold sensation that penetrates deeply. I was able to apply it then go in public within minutes without anyone even knowing I had put it on.How much I used:I bought this large bottle of it, but didn't need nearly so much for the time I went through treatment, which was about 6 weeks. I'd estimate that I used somewhere near a teaspoon's worth each time to do my entire arm, upper chest and back. I applied it several times per day, depending on the level of pain I was experiencing. A little bit truly goes a long ways.Is it a cure:It is not intended to be a cure, but it does offer relief which is what I was after.

I have used this for years and it works great! Provides instant relief that lasts for hours But be very careful applying - you don't want to get it in your eyes. I use a disposable glove to apply it.

This stuff works better then any I have used. It hits right away and it stays in effect. Unlike some others that wear of pretty fast. My only whine is that over the last 3 years the price has gone up WAY more then inflation. Just wish they could me a bit more reasonable about it, as I prefer to keep an extra on hand.

This product is fabulous. It does not work 100% of the time but most of the time. When it does, it’s magic. I have RA and osteopenia in my knees. I use it for both.I like the roller, too. At night I keep it under my pillow for easy access and no dripping.

There are so many cold gels on the market, but my chiropractor uses Cryoderm so I decided to chose this one. I just had a total knee replacement and this gel helped me get through some painful moments. I won't be reordering, though, because it has literally doubled in price. A 16oz bottle used to be under $30. Now it's just under $60!!! Definitely too many other options to pay that much!!

Works quickly. Menthol smells are pretty strong, but works great.

I have used this product for years. I stopped using NSAID’s for joint pain and now just use cryoderm. The strong smell only lasts a half hour, but the pain relieving lasts for hours! Sore back? Use it once, it helps, but use it a second time and the pain is almost gone! Be careful not to touch face right after using. Wash hands well so you don’t get it in your eyes. Also, you get a “cold” feeling from it, so you might want to put some loose clothing on after applying. That being said, I LOVE the stuff!
