It's a neat product, bought one for myself and one for my wife. Both broke within a month or two. We are still using them with tape holding the two pieces together, but the seal is not tight so I'm not sure how much benefit there is. They are heavy and pull your buds out without the use of the clip, so the clip is an excellent idea. Unfortunately, that broke also. For a product intended for everyday use, I would hope for longer use.

It's a bit heavy just like the company warns you about but my husband quickly got used to it. We also had a hard time getting it to stay locked on the earbud cord at first, it kept popping off. But it seems to be staying now. It's nice to be able to use our iPhone earbuds and know they are now safe, the sound quality is better than an air tube headset. Would buy again!

The media could not be loaded.  This speak safe device gives me peace of mind about all of the radiation that we are exposed to on daily basis with our cell phones. I used my headphones quite a bit. as do my children, and the radiation exposure was something that I thought about. I never knew these radiation shields existed and it's definitely worth the investment to keep us healthy. Nothing on the packaging explains how speak safe helps to absorb the radiation but it's a plastic clip with two pieces of metal that snap over the wire. It does hold securely to the wire and I'm not concerned with the risk of it falling off. There is quite a bit of weight to it and they have included a small clip to help hold the weight of the speak safe from pulling your headphones out of your ears.This device takes no batteries or charging and is ready to go anytime you need it. It's easy to switch from headphones to headphones as needed. There is a tiny hole between the seal and if you insert a small pin or toothpick you can pry the halves apart. I did notice and removed one star from the rating because it will not fit over any of my thicker flat cable wires. All of my bluetooth headphones have a flat cable and are what I use the most so I cannot use this as often as what I'd hoped. I'm still very pleased and impressed with the ingenuity of this invention and can't wait for version 2 which hopefully will accommodate thicker cables as well.I did receive my speak safe at a promotional price for testing and evaluation purposes but my review is solely based on my experience and honest opinions of this device.

This product is a great idea in theory. The long term effects of cellular technology on humans is unknown. Call me paranoid but whenever I think about cell phone long term risk, I think of public opinion of cigarettes when they first came out. Sure this is an extreme view but I do not like uncertainty. The older generations had no electronics, current youth on the other hand have ipads, fitbit watches, apple watches, cell phones, laptops, and universal wifi. What are the long term effects of all of this? If a product is offering to add some level of protection, I willing to try it out!! This product attempts to dissipate some of the EMF radiation from cell phones. Don't forget that the radiation is real! I mean how do you think you can search on google in the middle of a park or speak to your grandmother from the other side of the country?Current recommendation guide cell phone users to use handsets to keep the phone away from their heads but this product supposedly adds an extra level of protection. During my use of the product I did notice that the shield did get slightly warmer as indicated but I just don't understand how it transfers radiation that cold be going to my head into heat/thermal energy? Perhaps if the company explained this in more detail, I would be more trusting. While using this product, I do not feel any different, so I don't have any tangible effects to report.One thing I did dislike about this "shield" is how heavy it was! The product came with a clip, which is necessary, without the clip it is basically a weight dragging your head down. Despite the added weight and my uncertainty of its benefit, I would have to recommend this product. The product does get warmer as indicated so I am hesitantly believing that it is removing the invisible radiation from my head. It doesn't cost that much so why not? I have one disclosure, I received this product at a discount in exchange for an honest review.

I am so happy to find a product that I can use to help me with my day job of being on the phone all the time. I watched the movie, "Heal for Free" and "Grounded" which gave me the awareness to motivate me to protect myself against EMF frequencies in my home and from my cellphone. I am so jazzed to have a product that is versatile and can be placed on any set of headphones interchangeably.Highly recommend!
