Buyer beware if you don’t read Chinese
I purchased this for my 80 year old mother to give her something to do during quarantine lockdown. The package didn’t arrive on schedule and although it is very pretty the instructions are in CHINESE! Chineses instructions are a bit of a problem in itself but the piece comes with printing in the center which reads ‘The Smiths est. 1977’After going back to the original description I see that it is printed in ink that washes away, but with the Chinese instructions Mum didn’t know that and has been trying to figure out a cleaver way to cover up the writing. So what started as a nice idea to occupy some of her time has turned into a bit of a headache for her.

Not for beginners.
I does give you some steps for different stitches, but they way the design is written is tricky to follow. I am a beginner and I'm struggling with this. I have had to look on youtube to figure out some of it.
