Original Reindeer Auto Outfit

I've bought two of these reindeer outfit last Christmas and I plan to use them this year as well. They hold well on my car. The instruction does suggest not using it when traveling on highways. Often times I only go local, so I've never had any speed problem or lost antlers.It's very easy to install as well. For the antlers, all I need to do is to place them on the window edges and for the nose I need to wire it on front logo.On my Honda Accord coupe, the antlers would get loosen sometimes when I open the windows for pickups, so I need to pay extra attention when doing so. Yet that's mainly because there're only two doors so I don't have other choices to mount the antlers. If the vehicle is a 4 door, then I'd recommend mount the antlers on rear windows and avoid front windows which need to be open more often. That's what I did with my hubby's 4 door car and it still looks very cute.I think they are made of sturdy materials and do resist water well. Sometimes they got soaked in heavy rains, but didn't lose shapes and dried up well. Overall, I'm enjoying the outfit so much and would recommend it to anyone.

This is a wonderful addition to your vehicle for the holidays. Despite the two negative reviews that were posted at the time I wrote this I have to say the item is EXACTLY as pictured. This set is made from a high density foam; hence the water resistance. This set is NOT PLUSH, a plush set would not be water resistant. Recently we had a full day of rain and the reindeer set looks as good as new... try that with a plush set.The foam is roughly a half inch thick and is comparable to the type of material used on interlocking floor tiles. There is a plastic rod that goes up into the antler and provides additional rigidity. The set is well made; we have it on our vehicle and we have driven on the interstate at speeds around 75 MPH and we have had no issues.We get compliments on them constantly and I have been stopped in parking lots around the city (from the grocery store to the post office) by people who want to know where we bought them. We love it, our kids love it, everywhere we go we get compliments; best Christmas purchase of the year thus far.

Through the holiday season I saw many people with these cute antlers and red nose. I was skeptical because there were other reviews of other brands and some lasted longer than others. I took a chance and got these. I must say I am very pleased with my purchase! They lasted the entire season and are in pristine shape and ready for next year. I drove on the freeway going 50-80mph several times with them on and it even rained about 2-3 times during the holiday season also and they held up beautifully! They did not bend or fall apart. The fabric was strong and durable! The material is great with wind and water and will hold up on any car. I am a very happy buyer that is ready to show off my Christmas spirit with these cute antlers and little red nose again next year!

This kit is the perfect way to put a smile on someone's face. I even try to park near other cars with similar kits so I can get "group" photos.The quality is just fine. The nose is cloth covered Styrofoam. It's a little tricky to mount since it's hard to get access to the back of the grill. By folding the wire into a fish hook it took me only two tries.The antler mounts have a broad base so they don't wobble. I did follow the recommendation of others and secured the material to the post with a zip-tie. Even at freeway speeds I haven't noticed any vibration or wind noise.

I purchased this antler/nose set in 2012 with the low expectation of using them through one season, but I am pleasantly surprised that they have held up. The fabric can be spot-cleaned, and the antler supports and clips are quite sturdy, securing them at even highway speeds. The overall quality is very good. I may be biased, but I think these look best on sedans such as VW Jettas. Another excellent fit is the Mini that is pictured.Pros:- Quick on-and-off with the antlers (nose attachment/removal speed will depend on your front great setup) -- so you can remove them for bad weather.- If you considering purchasing these, just go for it, because they will make you smile every day!- People are more likely to let you merge on the highway.Cons:- If you (or your spouse or kids) are the type to forget about the antlers and open the wrong window when driving, you could lose them quickly. They clip onto the top of a window, which needs to stay closed.- They are a fleecy fabric, so they are vulnerable to the elements and road salt.- They are not machine-washable. But I've had good luck bringing in wet antlers to air-dry.I am not really the type to decorate my car, so I can't say what compelled me to purchase these. But I am very glad I did, and can't wait for antler season to get here again so I can break them out. You can't take the world too seriously when you have antlers on your car.Now I just need some bunny ears!

This is really cute but when I ordered it I wonder how it would do if you needed to open the window. Well, I was in the hospital having a baby when it arrived and my dad and my 4 year old put it on my minivan (only the front windows open) and first drive with them on he lost one when he opened the window and it blew out on the highway. I guess if you live in a supercold climate and never open the windows it's not too much of an issue but we were still having warm weather here in GA. Also when you go to a drive through and open the window you'd need to secure it. I'd have given it 5 stars if it didn't so easily fall off opening the window. Luckily I'd ordered 2 sets so I had a back up. My cousin took the nose and one remaining antler from the first set and stuck it in his grill to look like he hit rudolf so it wasn't a complete waste!
