Will it work for my camera?

This is a data capable USB extension cable. I use it to transfer data from an Acurite 5-in-1 Weather Display to my Windows 10 laptop. The data is in the form of a file that the display software on my PC understands. The display "talks" to the PC transferring data on a timed schedule and keeps the PC from going to sleep. I have no idea what the data speed is but it seems quick. If your camera accepts a full-sized USB I don't see why it wouldn't work.

This cable is simply a USB extender. It will extend your USB port (using the male end) so that you can plug another USB cable into the female end some distance away from where your device is that you are looking to extend the USB port from. It will carry whatever USB signal you plug into it.
