2m DisplayPort Cable - Amphenol DisplayPort 1.1 Certified Cable (6.6ft)

The cable works perfectly to connect my desktop to my monitor - full size displayport at both ends, about 2m (6ft) long, with latches on both ends to clip neatly into the ports and hold securely. A moderate amount of pressure releases them - easy to do on purpose, and unlikely to be disconnected accidentally.Although it is described as DisplayPort 1.1, there is not a difference in the DisplayPort cable specification between 1.1 and 1.2. So this cable should be fine to drive your 4K monitor if your computer supports the 1.2 spec. No reason to pay twice as much for a cable that says 1.2.

It's a DisplayPort cable. It works. What more can you really say for a bargin bin priced cable?Are the contacts gold plated? I doubt it, but who can say unless you sent it to a lab.I'm only using it on a basic 1080p computer monitor and it serves that purpose so I really have no complaints about it. I'm only taking off a star because they are attaching the Amphenol name onto a cheapy generic cable that was most certainly not made by Amphenol.

Purchase two to work with a dual monitor mount and needed the extra length over most 6 foot cables. Product description states 2 meter or 6.5 foot length which would have worked. Actual product received measures just under 6 feet long. Had to return.

Worked great connecting to a 2560 x 1080 monitor at 75 hz with Freesync enabled.

What can I say. Its a DisplayPort cable. Works as described. Seems to be a good quality.

Certified by displayport.org, and seems to work fine.
