Darn things don't tangle!
I hate spending 20 minutes of a bus ride untangling my headphone cable..... I have about 10 different sets. Some cost $29.95 some $190. All have the tangling cable! Saw these advertised as non tangling and after one more episode of cable hooked on everything I was frustrated enough to sink some more $ in the hope of finding something that really worked. Saw a friend at work with a set that really had a zipper and frankly I thought that was what I was buying.... It was not. These are sleek no zipper look. Surprised & pleased. Didn't really want a zipper hanging around my neck. First I looked at the reviews. I am a bass hog... love da bass! I also like a clear crisp separation between left and right but I didn't really see any review that spoke to that. So bought them on the hope of NO TANGLE. We after a week NO TANGLE for real! Strong yet flexible connection both at the ear buds and the plug in. Excellent sound separation in left and right. And the bass.... welllllll love to have a bit more but they do creep close to excellent. I listen to techno, Italian Pop, Big Band, accapella, tango and chorus music...... and these buds do them all justice. Found the mute button by accident wish the volume adjustment was there too. Now the count down begins.... how long will the last with daily use??? But no worry.... I signed up for the FREE lifetime warranty.

In-line mic is too sensitive to any sort of movement and drops calls and goes off without touching
I bought two sets of these after reading reviews, one for home and one for work. The first two weeks it was awesome, great sound and the earbuds stayed put and were comfy, but over-sensitive in-line microphone makes listening near impossible. Now any sort of slight movement will set the mic off to do SOMETHING, start playing music, stop playing music, skip a track, ffwd/rewind what’s currently playing. They also hang up on phone calls randomly and quickly. Most of these things are done without even touching the mic or the one button (this is a bit of a design flaw I think as it’s counter-intuitive to have one button to do so many functions, but provide no instructions on how to do them).I first thought it was one pair, but turns out both sets I have do all these things. I find that I have to walk around holding the headphones a certain way (which changes every time like having a lose wire) just to try to get uninterrupted play of audio/or even silence (the headphones often trigger random music apps that are closed on my phone). These play issues also happen when plugged into my laptop. It sucks because they seems solidly built and fit nicely, but the constant interruption in playlist ANYTHING or calling people make them useless. So the hunt for decent earbuds continues...

Not Worth the Money...wish I had tried Sony
These sound OK. This is the third set of ear-buds I have tried ever since my last set of Sony MDR-W08L classic headphones (a favorite across the board) broke after 2-3 years of use. They are now discontinued but you can get them on here for $100. Bit too much for me to swallow but I could have bought them by now with all the money I have spent on inferior products. Don't get me wrong, these are well made and the sound is maybe a bit above average as far as ear buds go. They do require more power and drain your IPod or whatever device you use them with much quicker than normal. Also, the cord is too heavy...which pulls on the buds and is also too long. I think they believe that people attach their mobile devices to their shoes. This length of cord gets in the way big-time so I have tried running it behind my shirt. This creates more tugging on the buds. Overall...they are pretty annoying to say the least. Wish I had tried the Sony version that looks similar to these but are actually a little cheaper.

so good. No worrying about tangled wires
After purchasing multiple sets of earbuds, I think I found ones that are going to last. I was skeptical purchasing these earbuds, because $50 for earbuds seems a little extravagant, but I decided to go ahead with it, because I figured I've probably spent far more on all the ones I've purchased in the past.Yes, I haven't had these earbuds long (about a week), but so far, so good. No worrying about tangled wires, which has been a huge pain in the ass in the past and most importantly, the sound is great. I am an avid gym goer and having my music to get me through my workouts is essential! when the sound isn't working properly, it takes away from having a good workout. Instead of focusing on whatever cardio I am doing at the time, I spend the time trying to manipulate the wires in order to get the sound to work and be transmitted through both ear buds. I have had multiple sets of headphones where one of the earbuds fail to transmit any sound. These Zipbud earbuds and wiring are sturdy and I know they will not give me the problems I've had to deal with in the past. Yes, I do think the price is higher than the average set of headphones/earbuds, but then again, the cheap(er) ones fail on me sooner than later. I find it's often true, you get what you pay for and I think these Zipbuds are going to be well worth the money. .
