For guys getting older...
Very useful for people losing hair but riding a bike in the sun. After getting a sunburn or two I tried first a handkerchief, then one of these. The skullcap is easier to put on, just as cool (temperature wise), and does not require folding. Not expensive. After a while one simply doesn't remember one is wearing it. A very practical solution.

Snags and Pulls Develop Easily
Bought this for my husband to replace an old Headsweat he'd been wearing for years. After wearing it about six times it has several pulls and snags. It's going to look awful soon, and I don't think it's going to last as long as the prior Headsweat did. Very disappointed.

No more stinky helmets!
This is for my husband as he is an avid cyclist. Cycling is a money pit and there are so many things you can buy. Most things cost a lot of money. Shoes, helmet, jerseys. The bike! When you spend a ton of money on a helmet and it gets stinky and gross from sweat, you need to help you Hubby figure out a way to keep his stuff nice. Or at least last a bit longer before he shells out another few hundred for a helmet. I found these online and he was resistant. "I don't want to wear that," he says. "I see people with those bandanas and they look stupid." Well you can hardly tell he is wearing anything once the helmet is on. Now he has five. After a ride, he throws it in the wash.It really does keep his head warm on cooler days (keeping the heat in) and cool on hotter days (by absorbing the sweat). He has an average sized head and I think that with the bandana you can get a tighter fit, but there is some stretch and once it is on your head with a helmet over it, it's not going anywhere. And no more stinky helmet!

Thin, Breathable
I use this cap for cycling, primarily during colder times of year. I gave it a 3 due to the fact it is not long enough to over my ears during winter. My two riding partners are bald, so they were theirs year round to ward off sunburn. Winter skull caps tend to be thicker and are not as breathable, I just wish this covered all of my ears, not just half.

Best Skullcap I've Found
I have purchased at least 5 or 6 different skullcaps (Nike, Under Armour, EVS, etc) for cycling and the Headsweats Skullcaps are the best. I never get sweat in my eyes, my head stays cool and the cap does not have a tendency to add pressure to my head that could possible cause headaches. I do wish they were just a tad bigger, though once it's on I completely forget it's there. Some of them have a 'pony tail' piece off the back, not sure if they all do or not. I know that some users may want this, I do / did not so I just cut it off close to the elastic of the headband - no problems doing so. This will be my second one so far, nothing wrong with the first, it's just easier to have a couple on hand between laundry cycles.

Nice Cycling Beanie, But Too Small For Me.
I have used one of these beanies for several years, but have had to give them up, as they give me a headache--the band is too small around my head. I just bought two new ones, and had to return them. That being said, if you have an average sized head, you will enjoy the beanie, which provides warmth on cooler days, and keeps one dry in warmer weather.

Nice little skullcap beanie
Nice little skullcap beanie. I assume the majority of users wear it under a bicycle helmet (or maybe a football helmet, but how many of you play football?), but I wear mine at night to protect my pillow from the medication I apply to my scalp. (For those of you who are saying, "Ew!", that's right. Ew!) Works very well. Hand-washes easily in the bathroom sink and dries fairly quickly on the towel rack.

Love that they keep the sweat out of my eyes
Had never used a head covering on long bike rides but got tired of wiping the sweat out of my eyes when it's hot. Decided to use these goofy things since saw others using them. Got to admit, I was wrong. They work wonderfully. Draw the sweat away and distribute it through the cap rather than running down your face. Won't go back. One proviso: If you use a normally vented helmet, the white will make you look bald while you have your helmet on. No big deal but makes for a few funny looking pictures. :-)
