Universal Knives and Utensils Storage Block

Love this. Works well. Brushes remove easily for cleaning. Can hold many knives. So much better than slotted wood holders.

Guessing it is okay...have not used because found a better product and return costs prohibited me returning.

I purchased this knife block on Amazon quite a while ago. I absolutely love the concept--all these little plastic spaghetti sticks that you can slide your knives into. The problem I've had with it is that for some reason, the spaghetti sticks in the larger top part are all tangled up, and there doesn't seem to be a way to get it out to fix it. I'm still using it, but I just think sad/frustrated thoughts every day when I stick a knife in it.

In order to clean this block the manufacturer says that the assembly will come out if you turn it upside down. It will not come out. There are no holes in the bottom that would allow you to push it out. Ironically there are holes under the bottom cover if you remove it. If you do remove it, you will never get it reassembled because the sheet metal will never fit back in the top and bottom plastic fixtures. The product can't be cleaned. It is now more landfill adding to the unfixable garbage clogging up the planet.
