Natural Cold Sore Treatment.07 Oz, from Vivicin

I am a person that suffers from cold sores and this stuff is amazing! When applying the product it feels light on the skin as if you are not wearing anything and it does a great job of healing dry chapped lips. I haven't used the product on a verge of a cold sore outbreak yet, but I was able to use the product at the end of a breakout and it did a great job of healing the area that had dry/scabbed skin that was left over.I'm updating my review to let you know this stuff is truly amazing. I had a red tingly/itchy area on my lip and immediately put this stuff on after hesitating to grab abreva instead and I'm glad I grabbed vivicin. After 30 minutes the tingle and redness has gone away.

I don't know if I'd claim that it helps cold sores go away fast. I put the treatment on about twice a day and the cold sore stayed for about a week. It does relieve tha pain, itching and discomfort as it says. The leading competitor always helped them go away so much faster BUT it didn't relieve the pain/itching/discomfort Vivicin did. It did help the cold sore not get so big and puffy.

I don't have two days to wait for something to start to work. When I aplly something, I at least expect some results. If I also need something for chapped lips, I will get a chapstick.

I ordered this product when I felt the first tingle of an oncoming cold sore and received it just when it started to blister. I used it as stated on their website and the blisters, redness, and tingling were gone withing two days. The pain was gone almost as soon as I applied this. This is the fastest and easiest I have EVER had a sore be gone and it also helped with the terrible chapping that comes along with the sores. The cold sore has not returned, so I am calling it a win.

This ointment moisturizes the fever blister/cold sore area and eases the symptoms of itching and pain associated with them. It really seems to do the trick. I was very skeptical of buying something I had never seen in any pharmacy or store in the area I live in, but I'm impressed. It says that this is a cream, however it is more of an ointment. Its the color of petroleum jelly and really thick too. So far so good.

Didn't help one family member at all. Yet to be tested by others.

Seems to help. No overnight success, but over 2 or 3 days things are much better.
