Bicycle Golden Spike Deck by Jody Eklund - Trick

This deck has good stock, and its subject matter is interesting. Each court card and ace features someone or something instrumental to the completion of the first Trans-Continental Railway, and the cards feature a yellowed and worn look, giving it the appearance of age.

The cards look like they have been around since the driving of the spike. The court cards, aces and jacks have period-looking images. I will be able to use these when doing Gold Rush reenactment. I'm glad they have an Indian woman and Chinese worker. But the words "squaw" and "celestial" are somewhat offensive. I wish each card with a picture had a label.
