I went camping for 3 nights in May. This tent was easy to put up and take down by myself (10-15 minutes). It rained one of the days all day, and the tent stayed dry, I didn't even have a tarp under it. Very happy with this purchase.

Bought this tent for some back country camping. I have only used it twice so far in the warmer weather. It takes less than 5 mins to put up by yourself. It is a true 2 person tent, so expect to get close.The best part is everything fits back into the bag without too much effort.Make sure you get the footprint. Love this tent first outing was a weekend with lows at 27 degrees and we had torrential downpours of rain. Not only was it bone dry inside, I also woke up that 27 degree morning comfortable to take my time getting dressed. It actually holds in a respectable amount of heat. Would deff buy again. Easy to set up I feel it will last the long haul

Nice addition to my gear. Have played with it in the yard in the rain several times with no leaks; and, on the trail in very hot weather I really appreciated the ventilation. Perfectly suited for two packers, or a luxury abode for a shorter solo adventure!

The pictures in the description don’t do it justice, especially with the vestibule which is plenty big enough for your shoes and some other gear. This is a great tent. A little heavy for extended backpacking, but you get a lot of tent in a five pound package. It’s roomy (for one person) and built tough. Does pack down enough to fit in my backpack. Aluminum poles are nice to have and are much less likely to fail than the fiberglass poles you usually get at this price point. Ventilation is decent, but not great unless the fly is off. Speaking of the fly, it really provides coverage. Had Several hours of hard rain in the Smokey’s one night and woke up bone dry in the morning. For the price you just can’t beat Mointainsmith. It’s gear you can trust which is extremely important when you’re several miles into the backcountry. You would have to spend a lot more money before you would be able to achieve better weight at this level of performance.
