Products - Edge Control Styling Hair Balm - 2 Ounces

I am all for black owned companies As I am Black myself. I learned about this product from Instagram. Initially I wasn't going to try it because I noticed the women who were using it caked it up on their heads so thick. I do not go anywhere without edge control and I very familiar with every brand there is out there. now this one is more on the pricey side n agin ,I prefer to give my money to a black owned company. I gave it a try and this is honestly the best at control that I have come across. It compares two edge controls in its price range except this one is actually natural . I use it on my daughter's hair as well with great and lasting results. If you use edge control on a day to day basis the way I do you are going to incur some sort of a build up of product . If and when this product does build, just add a little bit of water on a tooth brush n smooth your edgeds, then apply a scarf and you are good to go . I will continue to be a customer

This is the BEST edge control I've tried. it works on natural and straight hair and does not leave build up if used sparingly. The key for usage: only apply to hair edges you want to "smooth & lay down" and then brush into style once. If you brush back over too many times the product lifts and will not hold.

I saw this product being heavily advertised on Instagram and so I thought it must be absolutely the best edge control....EVER. Well..... Its not. But I will say that its in the top 3. Heck maybe top 2. Its a tie between Dr. Miracles and this one. Only difference between the 2 is that Dr. Miracles doesn't leave a white residue. This one does. Especially if you use it more than once without washing your hair in the same week. You can't used it today and then tomorrow with the white residue/build up. And especially if you have a lot of product in your hair.My picture show you a 3 hour time span of the results. I didn't do anything strenuous during those 3 hours either. I just went to run a couple of errands and came back home.Although the neatness of my edges in the left pic doesn't reflect in the right pic I feel like the mold was still there after a couple of hours. I also went out dancing around 10 and before I left I just put some water on a toothbrush and slicked then back down and I was good to go. After dancing til 2am my edges looked just like the right picture.[I should note that I do live in Georgia. But it wasn't a humid day]

I was disappointed with the size of this product. I had seen youtube videos with people using the edge tamer and assumed the one that I ordered was full size. It was 2 or 3 ounces much to my disgust. Amazon doesn't give you an option for which size but overall the product is great and i would say it is better than ECO edge tamer, better than creme of nature edge tamer and the cantu edge tamer. i simply use a tooth brush to apply it to the edges to stretch the product but i will be looking into how i can get a LARGE one not a travel size.

This product is not worth it ladies not even worth $3 so please don't waste your time. All I can say is that the hype was real which is what caught my attention from social media. I have a nice grade of long coarse natural hair where my edges will lay down just with water and curling cream. Therefore I don't use edge control very often but as I said the hype really caught my attention. Mainly was looking for a shiny look this product is completely dull and no shine and as other review stated it only lays down 2 mins. I ended up doing my usual with water a conditioning product and a brush because this edge control made my edge look bad. Go with what you know ladies regardless of your grade of hair. I may can't get my $14 + back but it's ok I supported with that and will be trashing it!!!!!

Best hair product that I've used on my natural hair I've tried everything from 4naturals, carols daughter, curls, syontinics, you name it I've tiered it in s huge battle for the perfect edge control. Honestly I love this product I feel that people expect too much not everything is going to work on natural hair you just have to search for a product that suits your hair. I give the owner praises for shipping to the UK SHES WORKED S MIRACLE IN MY HAIRS LIFE 🤗 I will order and order none stop because it's the perfect fit for my hair. When ever I get build up I would use a lil water and that's it my hair will hold all day. I have noticed that when you mix it with certian other products it goes white and looks horrible but I've learned what products it can be mixed with and I'm good to go. Perfect but I love it 👌🏾

OK this edge control may work perfectly when you're not working out twice a day in 100 degree weather. It holds perfectly at 5 a.m. but I workout from 6-7 and had to apply more. I even tried re-wetting it as some reviews recommended but to no avail. By lunch my edges are completely the same and after my evening workout I can forget it holding down my hair at all. It also has a sticky residue that burns my eyes like crazy when I sweat. So again maybe if you're not active, but for me working out twice a day in the heat no thank you. I also have course thick hair.

I have used this product on pressed hair and it works like a dream! The edge control stays on my edges for a couple days if I wrap my hair properly. On my natural hair, the edge control does move around a little, but I have 4c hair so nothing can really keep my edges down unless I'm using gel and wrapping it at night. The product doesn't really have a scent, which I prefer for products that are meant to support hair growth. The product is not sticky or greasy and applies smoothly. Can't wait to try to the twisting cream!
