Miracle In A Tube
I used to look forward to fall, but in recent years I've begun to dread the cool seasons because it means that my hands become dry, chapped, and begin cracking. We were just a few weeks into fall when it started this year. I've tried aquaphor, expensive hand creams, drinking loads of water, covering my hands, but nothing seemed to help. I bought a tube of AMantle to try after reading about it on another site.I'm through with searching. This is it - it's all I need for my hands! My hands were cracked (and eep, bleeding) on Sunday - I went out to the post and found that this tube had came. I immediately washed my hands of the cream I had put on earlier. Within an hour or two my hands felt better. It helped hydrate my hands and the cracks weren't opening every time I flexed or moved my fingers. It's now been three days and I couldn't be happier. While I still have a few rough spots to clear up, my hands are crack free and for the most part, soft. I would recommend this to anyone having issues keeping their hands moisturized. I'd also recommend buying a larger amount. The tube will be great to have in my purse, but I plan on buying the jar to keep on hand at my home.

Didn't do it's thing
The cream did not live up to it's expectation. The only good thing about it was that it had no smell but the sad thing was my dry finger which was the reason I bought it is still dry.

hand cream
Very convenient to leave the tube on your desk at work to moisturize your hands during the day. Good value for the price.

It didn't help diaper rash
I ordered this based on Dr. Sears recommendation for severe diaper rash. It's supposed to help your skin heal faster on its own.But it's pretty pricey and unfortunately, did NOTHING for my 5month old who has eczema. The small tube really doesn't last long. I called the company (which was a feat in itself because you're constantly rerouted through various companies) and they said they're no longer manufacturing this. Makes me wonder if they realize that not many people are so willing to buy a very expensive product that doesn't work.

Not Acid Mantle
My parents had a stockpile of the original Acid Mantle that my dad used when he worked in a machine shop. It was the only thing that kept his hands from cracking and bleeding. It was like magic. I was so excited to see that Amazon sold it. Only problem is that this product is not Acid Mantle it is A Mantle and the formula is not the same. It works okay, and I probably would be happier with it had I not been expecting Acid Mantle.

Great skin cream!
I have extremely dry skin and excema. My family physician recommended this as it is what they use at his office. I have not had this long enough to know how it works long term. I like the consistency. It goes on smoothly and is no greasy or heavy. I bought the small tube (it is about the size of a tube of Neosporin) to try, but I think I will order the larger jar which is also available on Amazon.

Nurse recomendation
Have been a nurse in a gyn office and the first doctor I worked for recommended this in the 1960's. It does help relieve delicate tissues. I had originally ordered this through my pharmacy but found it was cheaper to order online and more convenient to have it delivered directly to me.

One Star
Love the product but do not like being gouged. $90.00 for a little 1oz tube is ridiculous.
